Wondering how useful an Akroan Horse would be in this deck. Not sure what to take out for it though...

Akroan Horse seems like a marginal gain if that, if it did that when it entered that would be one thing, but it seems kinda lackluster for edh.

if you wanted token gen, something like Knight-Captain of Eos or Geist-Honored Monk would be much better. maybe even a Heliod, God of the Sun

It seemed more comical to me, than the best card for the job. All your suggestions have been in the deck at some point or another, then taken out since I don't really rely on Teysa's ability to get the job done. More to activate ETG abilities or take out a problem creature at instant speed.

Gonna give Footsteps of the Goryo another shot and see if graveyard blinking is as useful as it appears. Too bad it's not an instant though...

with the stuff you can Grave blink from Karmic Guide to Ashen Rider it seems like it could be pretty decent.

Alongside of Footsteps of the Goryo is Goryo's Vengeance - downside is the exile at end of turn (unless you blink it, kinda the same as the Whip of Erebos ) and only targets legendary. Upside: instant speed return from graveyard. On second thought, disregard that suggestion.

Thanks man. I feel like this deck has ridiculous synergy. I do like the instant speed of Goryo's Vengeance , but sadly I don't have too many legendary creatures in here. Maybe they'll make the perfect instant speed graveyard blink card in another expansion. Would certainly be nice.

the entire idea of graveyard blink is a pretty fun and interesting one, and with cards like Whip of Erebos they are certainly looking at it. i figure there is hope yet. also, it is stupidly costly but ever look at Fated Return ? i figured you have, but i like the flavor if not so much the actual card. It yells, "I'm back with a freaking vengeance"

And the final piece is acquired. Karn Liberated means this deck is complete until the next expansion comes out. Then it's just a matter of tweaking or adding useful cards and finding various foils.

After getting some rounds in, looks like Footsteps of the Goryo is a welcome addition. Been used to flashback Archon of Justice , Karmic Guide and an Ashen Rider . Also has great synergy when Teysa is on the field and I'm blinking in a 2 color or black creature. Get an ETB, ETG and spawn a spirit token. Not bad for an uncommon.

Thinking of adding a Vedalken Orrery ...could be useful to reanimate creatures during an opponent's turn to deal with threats quickly rather than having to wait until my turn.

could be good, you just have to ask if it is something that would be useful more often than the card you are taking out for it.

I like Vedalken Orrery i think it would be a great addition to this deck considering alot of the sorcerys would be great when its not your turn. No summoning sickness. Cast Living Death just before your turn. Nice...

Out Orzhov Keyrune , In Vedalken Orrery .

griffstick you'd be surprised how often Orzhov Keyrune is a clutch play when I make it a white/black creature for 2 mana. I think I'm taking out Martial Coup for it instead. Or maybe Necrotic Sliver ...it is a bit redundant since I've added in the Victimize .

I was thinking Orzhov Keyrune cause its not a creature til its activated. Plus you cant reanimate it, you know what i mean. It does not fit your overall theme. How many times has it ended up in your graveyard and become useless at that point. Necrotic Sliver could be of better use then the keyrune.

Your already low on creatures i wouldnt suggest making it any less

Trading Post is able to reanimate it...but I get what you mean about it not fitting the theme as much.

Ashen Rider should be taken out, definitely the rider. jokes aside Strionic Resonator seems like a perfect thing to trade out for Vedalken Orrery . Either that or replace it with a Mirari considering it would interact with 1/4 your deck vs 1/10th.

Interesting idea...I'll have to mull that one over a bit. I have a Mirari already, but there are quite a few instants/sorceries that are useful for a one time cast. I'm tempted to put in a bit more token generation since I've had a few instances where I've needed to use Teysa's ability and didn't have enough. I'd had Captain of the Watch in there before and I think I'm leaning toward adding him back in.

if you were going that route i'd say Knight-Captain of Eos for that damage mitigation lower white cost and earlier drop could be an amazing pick.
