Yep, thats why im building a green/black elf deck (the commander's colors include all mana symbols on the card). Its kind of a shame, as there are some nice green/blue and green/white elves.

Ahh i didnt see the regenerate. For Green/blue you could get a Momir Vig, Simic Visionary . That could be quite fun, as it searches for cards too.
