I am thinking about adding Baral's Expertise somewhere in my deck. It can be a "Bouce 2 enemy creatures" and "Bounce 1 Creature back to your hand and replay it immediately" which would trigger the etb again. Or, it can be "Bounce 3 enemy creatures to opponent's hand" and also play one another creature of my own that I can then proceed to blink with Aminatou.
What do you guys think?

I am also thinking Deepglow Skate might have a place here

miha22: I can certainly see Deepglow Skate going into a more planeswalker heavy build. Baral's Expertise is interesting but the fact that it is sorcery speed is kinda a bummer. It is a pretty sweet card though.

Archaeomancer + Gilded Lotus + Panharmonicon + Ghostly Flicker + land
unfortunately this combo doesn't work... the second trigger of the archeomancer will not get u back ghostly... since the original target left the gy... awesome list btw :)
ps. would u consider the "buried alive line" in this deck? u can easily combo off with phyrexian delver + (felidar and vela) or + (deadeye and peregrine)

sirsigno: Good catch...will be fixing it. Buried alive line sounds spicy.. would be a good thing to try out when I wanna go more competitive. Thanks for the feedback!

Hmm. Any consideration for Brago, King Eternal? Blinking all of your non-land ETB effects seems incredible.
August 3, 2018 1:14 a.m.
Milesfuzz: Brago doesn't give immediate value when he comes down as I don't have any haste enabler in my build. He also draws a ton of hate and will most certainly be removed before I get any value off him which is why he's not in my deck.

Super interested in this deck! If its anything like your Atraxa Superfriends list, its going to be awesome!
One question I have is how does "Aminatou, the Fateshifter + Felidar Guardian + Oath of Teferi or Panharmonicon" go infinite? Am I missing something? Oath only lets you return the permanent at EOT. Panharmonicon gets you closer, but I think this combo is finite. Don't get me wrong, you can do some damage with it, but it may not be enough to close out a game.

tfitch, Okay, the way Panharmonicon + Felidar Guardian + Aminatou, the Fateshifter combo works, is you flicker a land or any good etb effect with the first Felidar Guardian trigger, and Aminatou, the Fateshifter with the other, than flicker Felidar Guardian with Aminatou, the Fateshifter's -1 loyalty ability, then rinse and repeat. You can use a planeswalker's ability every time it reenters, as each time it enters a new permanent, forgetting that it already used an ability. This combo makes infinite mana with any land or mana rock, as well as infinite flickers of any other permanent, like infinite filtering with Trial of Knowledge. Ways to win the game from this are Gonti, Lord of Luxury to exile each opponents' decks, Ashen Rider/Venser, Shaper Savant to remove all of your opponents' permanents, or Kaya, Ghost Assassin to make each opponent discard their hands, draw yourself a ton of cards, and drain all of your opponents' life totals, and gain infinite life.
Oath of Teferi can work in replacement of Panharmonicon in a weird way. Because you can use Aminatou, the Fateshifter twice, on the first ability, you can flicker any permanent like a land, and on the second you can flicker Felidar Guardian, allowing you to repeat this process. It works effectively the same.

SynergyBuild Ahhhhh ok that makes much more sense. TBH these kinds of decks are not my usual play style. I am interested in building this deck so I can better understand how this kind of stuff works. Thanks for the clarification!

If you really want to tutors, Rune-Scarred Demon works fantastically in this deck, other than the cost. Noxious Gearhulk still makes for great removal.

Why Trial of Knowledge over Oath of Jace? I get the 1 less discard (although we have some grave recursion, so it's not a total loss in any means), but 1 less mana and scry at upkeep are two much stronger reasons in my mind to run oath.
August 6, 2018 1:18 a.m.
Sh1ftyL0ck3: You're right that the only reason he's not in here is due to his CMC...I would love to keep the 7 cmc slot at 3 cards. If he has to go in I figured magister sphinx would probably be replaced. Noxious Gearhulk is nice especially with the lifegain..the only problem is that he's competing with the 6 cmc space. I do think that having a cheaper Ravenous Chupacabra is more than enough with the number of removals in the deck.
FolkenFanel: I've actually tested both and come to like trail of knowledge more. The discard two makes decision way harder for me and makes me more hesitant to abuse it with blink effects. The one extra mana really doesn't make much of a difference from testing. Having an extra card in hand does matter. My deck also doesn't always have Aminatou in play at all times so the scry trigger is unreliable most of the time. That is the reason why I've decided not to use it..but maybe it works better for your deck strategy. Hope this makes sense!

Really like the way this deck looks. I will try to make a version based on this that is a little more budget friendly (No cards over 10€ that I don't already have). Thank you for this interesting base.

dumb question here but how does the Archaeomancer + Clever Impersonator + Ghostly Flicker work for infinite turns with Time Warp
August 6, 2018 3:04 p.m.
mptacnik: With Time Warp in the graveyard, cast Ghostly Flicker targeting both Archaeomancer and Clever Impersonator. Archaeomancer will get Ghostly Flicker back to your hand upon ETB trigger and Clever Impersonator will come into play as a clone of Archaeomancer which will get back Time Warp upon ETB trigger. Now you can cast Time Warp again to set up for the next extra turn. Repeat ad nauseaum.

Enral thats what i was thinking but wont Archaeomancer and Clever Impersonator enter at the same time?
August 6, 2018 3:37 p.m.
mptacnik: I think you're right, I was thinking that clever impersonator's clone effect was an ETB trigger. I'll remove that combo from my list. Thanks for pointing it out!

Have you had any experience on how well Cloud Cover performs?
August 9, 2018 7:11 a.m.
Odysseus_97: Cloud Cover serves as a double duty in my deck. It protects my key flicker engine from getting targeted or else I get to bounce them back to my hand only to recast it again for value. It has worked great so far and usually redirects attention to the other players. I'm never unhappy to see it at any point in the game. At worst it will eat removal, which is one less removal to worry about.

Altar of the Brood: I think you should consider adding this as it enables more combos, it's very cheap to get out if you don't have a lot of mana left. And even without the combo pieces, it still quite good value. And with an infinite draw going you can put it out for 1 mana and win by just keep blinking.
-
Temporal Mastery: Sadly it is a one time use, but in this deck it will be a Time Walk very reliably, that seems to be way to good to pass up :)
-
Mnemonic Wall: You already have Archaeomancer, but an optimized build often have multiple of the same effects, and this seem to be one of the best effects in the deck for combos, and you can even reuse miracles with Aminatous +1.

FolkenFanel: I especially like the idea of Reveillark & Lim-Dul's Vault will definitely find some space to test them. I'm actually testing reality acid in my list but it is still a strong maybe as it sometimes work like a charm when I have my flicker pieces out or it gets instantly answered and it's just sitting in my GY for the rest of the game. Maybe I'm playing it wrong. Thanks for the great suggestions!
