Hi! Love the deck. I always get a chuckle out of Goblin Offensive and Root Greevil, so I, personally, think they should be higher in the rankings. Also, here's a few personal favorite flavor texts: Goblin War Strike, Incendiary Flow, Sea's Claim, and Counterspell.

I like Knight Watch. Ekundu Cyclops isn't bad either IMO.

beninator thanks! Ekundu Cyclops reminds me of Orwell's Animal Farm (if you have ever read that, lol).

So what about Night's Whisper or Riptide Mangler? Also, Divine Verdict. The version from Theros is the actual funny one, but I don't know how to bring it up instead.

Ah, didn't know Divine Verdict ever had a different flavor text! I think at one point the "guilty" one was on here, but has since been removed. I remember turning down a very similar card to the Theros Divine Verdict that was something along the lines of "the last thing to go through the mogg's head was its face" or something like that.
The chum one is a good pun but is kinda meh to me in terms of comedy. It's good, though.
Nights whisper, albeit great flavor text, isn't really comedic. Sometimes I wish I had a best "dark flavor text" list or something like that, that would it right in.
Thanks TheRedGoat!

Yeah, to think better on it the imagery involved with the phrase alone wouldn't strike me as funny either with Divine Verdict, so I can understand that. Guess that's a list for another day.

Great list, gave me some smiles and reminded me of some good memories. I always liked Carrion Beetles....though I'm not sure if it joins the funny section or the dark section! ( which you should definitely add :) )

BS-T that's the exact opposite of Vexing Devil, interesting! I think this one counts more as a dark flavor text, though. Thanks!

JohnnyBoyG, I had Indestructibility on here, but it has since been replaced (I love the art with the text, it's great). Redirect has always been in the back of my mind, but not sure about it.
But Wall of Swords, now THAT is a funny one. Thanks!

Has anyone mentioned the SOI version of Macabre Waltz yet? Snerk.

No one has up until now. I really like the double meaning here. Perhaps into the Meta Irony? Eh, not sure. Thanks!

Just ran across this thread... Ad Nauseam as a Meta Irony? Considering that you make yourself "undead" when you play it with Angel's Grace/Phyrexian Unlife?
December 21, 2016 5:51 a.m.
VD_D hadn't thought of it that way. I have thought about putting it in because of the actual name of the card (Ad Nauseam is a phrase meaning: "used to refer to the fact that something has been done or repeated so often that it has become annoying or tiresome.") but dismissed it because it wasn't the actual flavor text of the card. Will update, thanks!

Oh Bovine073 I almost forgot this one! All Is Dust is one I always liked.

I like Untethered Express, but not sure if it fits here. All Is Dust gave me a chuckle, it will be fighting for a spot here. Thanks!

Great list, Skullcrack always gives me a chuckle.

BS-T I love the EMA version. Will consider. Thanks!
