Nice deck.

Have you considered reducing your creatures for more instants?

You could probably benefit from a few counters just be safe, like Dissolve, Mana Leak, Counterspell, or Izzet Charm

Great suggestions. I added 3 Dissolve and 4 Izzet Charms to give the deck more options.

Cantrips: Serum Visions Gitaxian Probe Manamorphose (Which ends up being a free spell)) Anticipate Sleight of Hand Just to name the popular, cheap casting spells

Serum Visions is definitely something I considered, but it is a little expensive for a single card especially since I would probably play a set of it.

Gitaxian Probe and Manamorphose are both also a little expensive per card just for card draw since I mostly play casual anyways, but I'm adding them into maybe since they would both serve the deck really well.

Anticipate is an option, but does it count as drawing a card for the effects of Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind?

and Sleight of Hand is not Modern Legal

Anticipate wouldn't count as card draw unfortunately but it helps set up the next card draw.

While I decided to move away from Anticipate, you did bring to my attention the need to find specific cards, so I added in Sarkhan's Triumph and Drift of Phantasms to help find either Niv-Mizzet.

Gotta ask why you'd want Jayemdae Tome over something like Otherworld Atlas since Otherworld draws cards for free (in return, your opponent gets the same amount you do, but hey, more mana for you). And in all honesty, for four mana, I'd rather just pay one more and run Prophetic Bolt or a couple of Alchemist's Vials. Even though they're one use only, they're way cheaper. Heck, you could even get away with Chromatic Star, and that one gives you mana.

I haven't really updated the deck since last summer, and only recently began looking into revising my deck. Jayemdae Tome was just something I was messing around with as I found myself with excess mana at times since so much of the deck is based around draw and burn during the combat phase and using tap or mana abilities, and the recurring draw was useful at times. That being said it does need to be replaced with something, as several other cards need to be. Prophetic Bolt is expensive for its effect, and it wouldn't even count as a draw for all the draw based burn in the deck. Both Alchemist's Vial and Chromatic Star only giving the one card draw is a bit restrictive. Otherworld Atlas however is something I will have to try out and see how it works. I'd prefer not to give my opponent card advantage, but it may have a place when to help cycle through the deck or just wait for multiple draw based burn effects before using it.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll honestly probably just end up adding like Think Twice or something such as that, as it fits the deck's needs much better

Depending on the situation, I'd almost want Thought Scour over Think Twice, since it replaces a flashback cost with hitting the opponent's deck for two cards, and is one mana cheaper. Alternatively, you could drop something else and run both. However, that boils down strictly to personal preference alone. In turn though, I almost feel like I would ditch the Weirds for a Keranos, God of Storms (draw or damage, though he hurts budget), and a couple of Instants, unless you want a body like Palace Familiar. If you want, you can also always run a Galvanoth. He's slower than the weirds and Familiar for sure, but he gets the added bonus of casting a sorcery/instant outright, and for free.

Thought Scour could be better, but for this deck the flashback draw that Think Twice Provides is more beneficial I think. I do have Keranos, God of Storms in the maybeboard, and you're right he would fit the deck very well, but I'm trying to keep the budget down. I had been running 3 Palace Familiar and am just testing out the Blistercoil Weird in their place, may switch it out. And Galvanoth wouldn't really add too much to the deck, since its not a straight burn, and the benefit of not paying the mana cost for the instants or sorceries is mitigated by his own cmc and the generally low cmc of the instants and sorceries in the deck.

Have you thought of adoing an artifact that draws you cards, suchannels as Font of Mythos? It's more budget friendly and Modern legal than Sensei's Divining Top?

Really like this, and might have to find so Curiositys for my own build. +1!

Yeah I'm running Howling Mine right now, but I'll add in Font of Mythos to the maybeboard as the additional card could be better. The only downside of course is that it would give the opponent even more card advantage, so Howling Mine may be a happy medium between still being able to get some extra damage in while not giving the opponent too many cards.
