Story

The infamous Ezuri commanded the highest bounty the Vedalken have ever placed upon an outlaw. Ezuri was a bandit before the Phyrexian invasion began, and he was one of the first Mirrans to figure out what was happening to their plane. Abandoning his life of crime, Ezuri unified the Viridian elves and human Sylvok of the Tangle. He established safe havens for his people and led the able-bodied in a resistance movement against the Phyrexians.

Ezuri's resistance movement had made him one of the most powerful and influential beings on Mirrodin, and the elf found himself unwilling to give up that status. Eventually, he was captured by the Phyrexians before he could be inoculated against Phyrexian infection. He was then compleated by Jin-Gitaxias's Progress Engine, and transformed into the 'Claw of Progress'. Now the once leader and savior of the Mirrodin resistance in the Tangle leads a host of Phyrexian forces to share the gift of perfection with others.
