Using Gitrog's ability we pitch lands to draw more cards to help us find our near infinite combo of Skirge Familiar and Dakmor Salvage. Once we have those two plus our commander on the field we start pitching Dakmor Salvage to our Familiar until we get our entire deck into the graveyard. Then we play Dakmor Salvage to bring Bloodghast from the graveyard (this step is optional if we already have 3 creatures in play). Then we flashback Dread Return to put Necrotic Ooze into play. The cards with activated abilities that we care about are Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon to give Necrotic Ooze haste, then Devoted Druid and Quillspike to make infinite mana and make our Ooze infinitely big. From here we have two different ways we can win, either one will do the trick. We either use the activated ability of Bloodrite Invoker to drain our opponents out or we bring back Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord from the graveyard, play him and then sack our infinitely large Necrotic Ooze to drain everyone out.

The deck used to run a lot of tutors to find our combo but the deck could then win consistently on turn 6 out of nowhere, so I cut them for more value creatures and spells, so the deck could be fun to play and not make the table groan when I bring him out.
