The GnR err GRN Esper

Standard* Control WUB (Esper)

Valantfien

Sideboard

Enchantment (4)

Instant (3)

This my version of Esper with the release of The Guilds of Ravnica I play in MTGA. With cards like Glimmer of Genius and Disallow rotating, some of the great staples available for a good Esper deck were not immediately apparent to me. That was until I stumbled on Enhanced Surveillance and the powerful surveil mechanic. Surveil definitely helps you get the cards you want when you need them by either swapping their positions on top of the library or moving them into your graveyard if they are not useful. The supercharger for the surveil mechanic is Enhanced Surveillance which allows you to dig deeper (2 card per enchantment) into your library.
This being a control heavy deck you need cards that will help you keep the battlefield empty while you setup your win condition. With Disallow no longer available to us, we need a good replacement and that's were Sinister Sabotage steps in. Though not as versatile as disallow is comes with the surveil(1) mechanic which does help move cards around in our library. With Torrential Gearhulk gone, now we have Mission Briefing with surveil(2) and then we can cast an instant or sorcery from our graveyard just like the hulk allowed us to do. Last of our control is Discovery / Dispersal and Thought Erasure which help by keeping the battlefield clear of the opponents win conditions or allows us to surveil and/or draw a card from our library.
I added one Crucible of Worlds because when you digging with surveillance in mid to late game you will ultimately end up throwing lands in you graveyard to get those board wipe cards, Cleansing Nova, and Settle the Wreckage when you have and immediate need from them. To help keep the board clean and to remove my opponents win condition I use Ixalan's Binding. Last thing I will say about support is the fact that Enhanced Surveillance second ability allows to sacrifice it and shuffle our graveyard back into our library. This second ability should only be used if we are getting close to the bottom of your deck.
Teferi, Hero of Dominaria is still a beast when it comes to keep us alive and keeping the battle field clear. What will get us the win though is Zetalpa, Primal Dawn. Zetalpa is immune to most removal but you have to watch for exiles cards like Ixalan's Binding, Settle the Wreckage , and Vraska's Contempt. If any of those cards come out and you weren't able to stop it, it's going to be difficult or impossible to get Zetalpa back. If you do manage to keep Zetalpa on the battlefield you opponent basically has 3 turns to figure it out or lose the game.
My side board needs help. I haven't really had a chance to test it out yet but, the decks that hurt me the most are good aggro decks and graveyard decks. So kinda developed the side board to help with early agro. I would swap some of my control and board wipes (not all) to help me stay alive longer by not taking as much damage in the early game. I'm stumped on how to best deal with graveyards atm, any help would be appreciated.
