Fun commander! I see you are definitely going all out with the sacrifice triggers, which rocks.

I'd consider switching Walker in the Grove out with Gleancrawler .

Perhaps putting Warstorm Surge in there as well, as with your commander out it = a free lightning bolt every time a creature dies, not to mention the larger creatures.

+1, have fun fleshing it out!

Thanks! Gleancrawler is definitely a must for this deck. Got rid of Walker of the Grove to make room for it. I'll think about Warstorm Surge .

Also other fun token producers = Awakening Zone , Ant Queen , Death Mutation , Dragonlair Spider , etc. Perhaps more cheap token producers, so that you can get your sacrifice on earlier without killing off your utility creatures too quickly/ soon.

It may not be as stable as some other continuous token producers but Fungal Sprouting is great if you need token fooder to feed devour

Fungal Sprouting looks like a great late-gamer, considering that some of my creatures will be beasts by then. Thanks for the recommendation!

With so many creatures in your deck Foster could be good. Death's Presence maybe with so many 3-power creatures dying. Asceticism protects your stuff. Since you are playing green in a 3color deck you could definitely use more mana ramp. Explosive Vegetation is a good start. Even just a Cultivate and Kodama's Reach go a long way.

I like Champion of Lambholt in there. Token makers: Wolfbriar Elemental , Dragonmaster Outcast , Goblin Offensive , Breeding Pit off the top of my head though you might do even better with more creatures with "when this creature dies" effects, and more spells to bring them back and sacrifice them all over.

just ideas

Dragonmaster Outcast is so cheap and yet so effective! I love Death's Presence , it fits in with the theme for sure. I ended up putting those in, along with Cultivate and Kodama's Reach . Thanks for the tips, Teal_Mage.

Feed the Pack would probably work well with a few cards in here, most conspicuously Throwmok the Flingable.

Goodbye Furnace Celebration . Hello Feed the Pack + Thromok the Insatiable + Warstorm Surge ! Thanks for the suggestion.

and for that matter, why do I not see Fling in here?

canterlotguardian, not sure what to give up for Fling . Would really love more direct-damage in this deck though. Hmm.

Primeval Titan is banned in EDH...

aloiav, I play MTG with a handful of close friends and we don't have any hard/fast rules about banned cards. Thanks for taking the time to comment though! I always appreciate feedback.

Finally had a chance to play this deck IRL and realized I needed cheaper and more aggressive creatures that take advantage of my commander. Added Young Wolf , Strangleroot Geist , Brawn , Rage Reflection .

For this list, I would recommend Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord , Parallel Lives , and possibly some more of the Eldrazi-Spawn-generating creatures - Nest Invader , Emrakul's Hatcher , Kozilek's Predator , and Rapacious One . Conjurer's Closet will allow you to repeatedly trigger Warstorm Surge , re-use the token-generation of Avenger of Zendikar (and the Eldrazi token-generators, if you elect to include them), give you a second chance to Devour things with your Devour creatures if you couldn't afford to sacrifice anything to them when they first came out, and untap Tenacious Dead , Reassembling Skeleton , and Rakka Mar . Ooze Flux is another token-generator that lets you turn the +1/+1 counters you generate into more creatures to sacrifice. Burnished Hart and Yavimaya Elder ramp you, can be recurred with your reanimation effects, and kill themselves for your death triggers.

I like this brew, though! +1 from me.

Oh, also, Grave Titan generates tokens and can be blinked with Conjurer's Closet . Sepulchral Primordial and Sylvan Primordial are great, as is Mikaeus, the Unhallowed . Fleshbag Marauder is potentially amusing - if you sacrifice it to its own ability, it can trigger Warstorm Surge , Death's Presence , Grave Pact , and Stalking Vengeance all in one turn - and you could get it back with Fell Shepherd or Gleancrawler . Gutter Grime could be amusing. Strionic Resonator can help with all of your triggered abilities - you've got quite a few of them. Vicious Shadows lets you deal more damage when your creatures die, and disincentivizes your opponents from drawing cards off of Fecundity .

So many great suggestions, thanks! I put Ant Queen , Doomgape , Kodama's Reach , Kresh the Bloodbraided , Putrefy , Rage Reflection , Reincarnation , and Skullclamp in my Sideboard and replaced with Conjurer's Closet , Strionic Resonator , Yavimaya Elder , Emrakul's Hatcher , Parallel Lives , Ooze Flux , and Grave Titan .

I'm keeping Young Wolf and Strangleroot Geist for the time being, since they're cheap and I can remove their counters with Ooze Flux and keep them in the game (maybe indefinitely) as chump blockers and token-creators.

I'm glad I could be helpful! I really like this deck; it looks like it would be a lot of fun to play with. :3

You should look into replacing the illegal cards.

DrockDorsey, Scourge of Skola Vale is only labelled as illegal here because the set hasn't come out yet. Primeval Titan was officially banned but I like playing with it anyway. I'm sure I'll find something else to replace it with. Thanks for the feedback!

Changed my Commander to Kresh the Bloodbraided since he works better with the cards in this deck.
