I've always loved playing Orzhov and Theros added a bunch of great black or white cards so I figured I'd keep with it. Suggestions and comments are appreciated and encouraged.

The Gods: Erebos, God of the Dead - cause the God of Death and Wealth would obviously get along with the Orzhov, and card draw is a lovely thing.

Heliod, God of the Sun - give all of my things vigilance, yes I believe we'll get along nicely.

The Pope(s): Obzedat, Ghost Council - because c'mon gain life and have your opponenet lose some every turn? on a 5/5 body? Yes, please.

The Saint: Archangel of Thune - sure she's a decent creature at 3/4 flying lifelink, but her other ability is where she really comes in to play, strengthening every other creature each time you gain life is a big deal, especially if Obzedat is flickering in and out of the field every turn.

Protector's of the Faith: Agent of the Fates - his heroic effect is pretty great in my opinion, and if I get the chance to trigger it than I probably will, but mostly I think his ability as a defensive creature is nice seeing as he has deathtouch.

Fiendslayer Paladin - firststrike, lifelink, can't be targetted by black or red spells, and trigger's archangel of thune? I think I love you.

The Bishop: High Priest of Penance - because who said you were allowed to have nice things??

The Bouncers:
Desecration Demon - a 4 drop 6/6 with flying is some pretty serious heat, but if you don't want to stare the baddy down you could always sacrifice a creature as penance, which I find acceptable.

Soldier of the Pantheon - a fun one drop who might be a bit discriminatory...
