I would chop all the green and focus more on the white humans, which are better. Unless you can show me a awesome green/white human for the deck.

Well there are two green humans I want for this deck, the: Mayor of Avabruck Flip and the Champion of Lambholt.
January 27, 2015 4:58 p.m.
I like the Mayor of Avabruck Flip mmm,
Let me see start by choping Clinging Mists
Add 3 more Sunpetal Grove
January 27, 2015 5:25 p.m.
Since you want to use angels how about Serra Avenger ?

Clinging Mists? You think so? It's got be out of a few tough spots.
How about Gavony Township instead?
Serra Avenger looks good! pretty cheap mana cost and pretty powerful.

Oh wait, I thought Gavony Township was a duel mana land. My mistake.

Keep Mayor of Avabruck Flip, Hamlet Captain, and Thraben Doomsayer. Add Champion of the Parish and maybe an Angelic Overseer. Ditch Champion of Lambholt or make it a one of. I'd also get rid of Phantom General and probably Parallel Lives and put Windstorm and Sundering Growth in sideboard. That's a start at least

Also, stuff like Cathars' Crusade and Avacyn, Angel of Hope are probably to slow if this is to be an aggro deck. You could consider cards like Obelisk of Urd or maybe adding more Honor of the Pure

Thanks for the suggestions!
I've been planning to get four Champion of the Parishes for a while and replace them with my [Doomed Traveler]s.
I really like the look of that Angelic Overseer, thanks!
[Phantom General] is really just a placeholder until I can get a better card to put in that spot. May I ask why I should get rid of Parallel Lives? It really helps to bolster my army of tokens.
I like Cathars' Crusade because I can stack a bunch of counter on from stuff like Increasing Devotion and Gather the Townsfolk. However if you think it should go I'll remove it. I'm rather new to deck building.
I'm getting more Honor of the Pures for sure. I love that card.
Avacyn, Guardian Angel is kind of just sitting there until I can get my hand on Avacyn, Angel of Hope. Do you think that would be a good addition?

PierreThePlaneswalker says... #15
I plan on coupling Avacyn, Angel of Hope with things like Herald of War.
I guess my deck isn't really that aggro... usually I just get up so many tokens my opponents can't touch me then buff them to Hell and back.

It kind of just depends if you're wanting to play this deck for fun or competitively. Parallel Lives is good, but by turn 4 you wanna have the game won or close to won (if you're playing competitively). Same with Avacyn. You could add some more mana ramp but it would change your gameplan up a bit. I suggest keeping the CMC as low as possible and going in fast, which is what aggro is all about. Soldier of the Pantheon and Precinct Captain could both work.

Btw I'm no master deck builder either, haha. But I have seen enough of these type of decks to kinda know which way they should go.

For now I'm playing fun right now, however when I get better I'd really like to start into the competitive scene.
I'm not against changing the gameplan. This deck has changed drastically since I first started building it. Originally it wasn't even a token deck!
Precinct Captain is lovely. I think I'll get some.

There's a new guy called Warden of the First Tree that you might be interested in.

He's almost like a leveler isn't he?

Hey bro I just wanted to let you know I built a deck around your idea. Feel free to check it out and use it for ideas.
It's called "I'm only human". You can go to my decks and cheek it out

Oh awesome! Thanks, I'll check it out. Might be able to get some ideas from it.
February 20, 2015 9:09 p.m.
I would not add any Planeswalkers. The CMC is too high. The AVG CMC of this deck is too high, especially given that, despite the splash of green, there is no mana ramp. You have 18 cards with a CMC of 3 or greater, some of which are really only good if you can pony up an additional 4 mana or whatever to pay for an ability. You've got 26 creatures, but you're AVG CMC is so high, you'll be too slow to flood the battlefield.
You have absolutly no interaction with your opponent. So they are free to play whatever they want, which will likely get out of control very quickly. I'd include at least 4 Path to Exile and 4 Bonds of Faith.
Also, more Mikaeus, the Lunarch. I'd consider adding Elvish Mystic or Llanowar Elves and also Soul's Attendant or Soul Warden.
I would cut anything that isn't a human, as well as anything over 1 4+CMC. Cut Congregate, Elspeth, Sun's Champion, Herald of War, Elder of Laurels, Champion of Lambholt, Avacyn, Guardian Angel.

Thanks for the advice!
How about some Avacyn's Pilgrims instead of the elves, to ensure that I get the buffs for them from Mayor of Avabruck Flip, Hamlet Captain and Champion of the Parish?
I have three or four Explores, would that be a good addition too?

65 cards and only 18 lands? Yeah Thats not going to work
Try reducing the cards to 60, add like 3 or 4 more lands.
