THE GREAT AURORA FUNSTUFF

Standard Budget Mono-Green Ramp

Sideboard

Yes, The Great Aurora is a weird card. And I know many of you think it's terrible. But in this deck, it's not! The gameplan: The first few turns of the game you get out small but good creatures like Sylvan Advocate, Tireless Tracker, andJaddi Offshoot. Attack a little, get some clues and some life. Turns 3-4 you should start ramping, using Nissa's Pilgrimage and Explosive Vegetation. Then, Nissa's Renewal and Animist's Awakening once you have 6 or 7 mana. By this time you should have a good amount of life and plenty of clues. Sacrifice some, but not too many. Now you play The Great Aurora. You should have 10-30 permanents on the board, and depending on your opponents deck that probably have about 10. Shuffle your decks up, draw your cards, and play your lands. On a good draw, you will get about 15 lands. Now you play Gaea's Revenge. They can't target it with removal, or block it. It's pretty awesome. Then on their turn, they'll probably play some dudes, but on your turn just ramp more or play another The Great Aurora, to do the same thing again. Helpful tips: Always remember to get clues from Tireless Tracker and life from Jaddi Offshoot when playing lands. Also, if your opponent plays a Stasis Snare or Silk Wrap on one of your creatures, if won't be shuffled away by The Great Aurora. This is especially helpful when its Tireless Tracker or Jaddi Offshoot that's being snared, because you'll get tons of clues or life. Sideboard: To play well, you have to know what to sideboard in against certain matchups. Against tutelage, emrakul, or black white control you get in Sigarda, Heron's Grace and the Fortified Villages to protect against mill and discard. Against aggro put the Pulse of Murasas in to gain life back. Because you may actually gain a lot, you can also put in Felidar Sovereign as an alternate wincon. If your opponent's have thing's like Westvale Abbey   that get you tokens or flashers, you can put in Rogue's Passage to make Gaea's Revenge unblockable. Clip Wings against annoying flyers. Remember: upvote if you like the deck and comment if you have something helpful to say!
