as for Untap.in, its a lot of fun and a great way to test decks/deck changes. My reference was to a brilliant Series of Science Fiction books, the first of which (there was a recent movie of this book) is called Ender's Game. The sequel is Ender's Shadow. Absolutely the best Science Fiction i have ever read, and one of the better series/books I have read overall. you should read them, they really are great. i was hoping your username was a reference to them, but alas, it was not to be.

Actually, Ender's Shadow is a parallel novel to Ender's Game, not an actual sequel. Just saying. Lol.

Hey Ender, it's me again. I don't believe it to be a good card, but Pyxis of Pandemonium is amazing.

Oh! Duh! Yeah I just missed the reference. I read Ender's Game a long time ago, and yes, it was the inspiration for the name.

I feel like Squee, Goblin Nabob and Static Orb should go in here, but don't know what to cut. I also think that adding Planar Portal in addition to Ring of Three Wishes might be good, but again, don't know what to cut. Any suggestions guys? Guerte? Mastertoa?

I really like Mesmeric Orb in mine. It puts stuff in the graveyard, which is awesome

honestly, i never really liked squee, and i do not really go for lock type effects, they just seem unfun. still, you can do you, and if you want lock effects i would cut witchbane orb. it just seems underwhelming

Here is what I, from a personal standpoint, view as chopping block material:

Burnished Hart

Expedition Map

Feldon of the Third Path

Hellkite Igniter

Hellkite Tyrant

Krark-Clan Ironworks

Kurkesh, Onnake Ancient

Lotus Bloom

Platinum Angel

Precursor Golem

The Chain Veil

Vedalken Orrery

Witchbane Orb

Oh, Mastertoa, by lock effects do you mean Static Orb?

The reason I'm considering Squee, Goblin Nabob is because I believe in this deeck he'd do Major work... He can block for days, he can be discard fodder with Faithless Looting and Daretti's +2 ability and net into card advantage... I just can't really see how he can be bad.

The reason I added Witchbane Orb is mostly to protect my graveyard from the usual graveyard hate suspects like Tormod's Crypt, Nihil Spellbomb and Bojuka Bog. In my opinion it's worth it to have.

yeah, i meant static orb and its bethren.

you make a lot of valid points for squee, and i guess you are right.

i did not really think of witchbane orb being used like that, but it is genius.

Thanks Mastertoa!

Anyone have thoughts on Skullclamp in here vs. Faithless Looting?

I'm kind of leaning towards giving things the Clamps!...

Give 'em the Clamps

Mastertoa says... #17

it seems to me that you have very few clamps targets: squee and tokens are just about the only clamp targets that give you cards without removal. i would leave looting in over clamps, because you do not lose out on board presence, it fills your graveyard, and it does not require 1 of about 3 cards in your 100 card deck to make it worth it.

You make a good point... I'll have to test both and see what works better long term.

Where are the Mindslaver? WHERE ARE IT?

Mindslaver is sitting, all foilly, in my binder, and never shall it see this deck... I just don't think it's a fun card.

July 18, 2015 10:15 p.m.

Guerte says... #23

It may not be a fun card for most, but it is another win condition with Daretti's Ultimate.

I personally find it fun to use. But don't like when it's used against me.

Ender666666 says... #24

I guess it's just that Mindslaver was meant to be a one-and-done artifact, and it's broken in EDH. It's not a fun way to win (more than once at least), and I feel like it cheapens the victory... I'd rather beat my opponent's with them fighting me to the bitter end.

July 18, 2015 11:48 p.m.

Copper Gnomes has become a core card in my Daretti Deck, there's nothing more important than saving a few mana to play your most bomb artifact it works great with Darksteel Forge Blightsteel Colossus Platinum Emperion Bosh, Iron Golem I mean the list really just goes on. the worst case scenario is that it eats a counter or removal spell. but if you can pop it off, it can straight win you the game, because it can get you a Blightsteel Colossus as early as turn 2
