Primal Rage isn't super necessary mainboard with the amount of trample you already have. I would go more for a spot removal card, or maybe Lightning Bolt to push through kills. rancor if you really want the buff or trample.

Manamorphose doesn't actually net you any cards, it's a cantrip. you could do better with the new red spell Commune with Lava. or fit in more creatures, like Burning-Tree Emissary doesn't have haste but is pretty good.

Wow! I JUST had this idea! I like the idea!

I think you want Goblin Guide AT LEAST! Hasty 2/2. Maybe also Monastery Swiftspear? Arc Runner seems bad...

Primal Rage seems REALLY bad. Almost all of your creatures got Trample anyways.

I would always throw some Lightning Bolt's in the deck, especially now when it's an aggro deck.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I will be updating the list shortly.

Even though it doesn't have haste, Burning-Tree Emissary seems like it would be really good in this deck. Besides allowing you to play multiple creatures a turn early on, it can help fix you mana to guarantee you can play either Ball Lightning or Groundbreaker on turn 3 without having to hit 3 lands.

BTE doesn't fix mana. she makes it worse trying to play ball lighting/groundbreaker because she gives you one of each, not your choice at all.

Realistically 12/22 lands in this deck are (4 fetches, 4 shocks and 4 buddy lands). With that plus Birds of Paradise I have very few mana problems as it is. I think that I have the mainboard looking and performing well, now I need to pay more attention to my sideboard. Any suggestions?

Scavenging Ooze for sideboard? It gives you life gain and you can get rid of graveyard stuff. Plus it fits in collected company. Just a thought

scooze doesn't give life gain reliably, it's more of a graveyard-hoser than anything. it's awesome against goyfs. disrupts people's tasigur plans, gives incremental advantage against abzan decks. I like scooze.

also Krosan Grip to Reclamation Sage out of the sideboard because Collected Company

Ravock says... #11

It would be reliable with the amount of creatures he'll be putting in, but I agree with the graveyard stuff

Since this deck is so explosive, you might wanna go out with a Temur Battle Rage.

Sine it can and will make the game end 1 or 2 time sooner.

@Ravock: I do need some way to deal with graveyard strategies. I will consider scooze for this purpose.

@asasinater13: Thanks for the suggestions! While Reclamation Sage is great in this build I need an instant speed response to twin deck and I think the BEST response in my colours is Krosan Grip.

@marutoken: That is a card I have been considering but I don't think it is better than Lightning Bolt because battle rage depends on me having a board state and in this build my creatures dont tend to stick for very long XD

splashing white for Congregation at Dawn would be really good if you also have a Collected Company in hand. also, Sundial of the Infinite is something to consider. It would stop your guys from dying at the end step.

Maybe Primal Forcemage could be used? He seems good against decks like Affinity or Storm or Tron that interact less.

May 10, 2015 2:59 p.m.

agreed by a lot on that one.

@DERPLINGSUPREME: I originally toyed with the idea of making this deck Naya but the three colours made it hard to hard cast Ball Lightning or Groundbreaker. That and this deck is already running 30 creatures and I very rarely do not pull two off of the top with Collected Company. So I think adding Congregation at Dawn would be a win more card. Instead of congregation I might add a different card that can re arrange the top of my library such as Cream of the Crop or Commune with Nature. As for Sundial of the Infinite, my creatures will die at the next end step so it is just delaying their death until the end of my opponents turn.

@jandrobard: I like the idea of Primal Forcemage in this build. While he does not have haste he certainly makes all of the others guys much more dangerous.

Have you considered Vexing Devil?

@Bokamoso: I had not considered Vexing Devil. I will have to do some play tests with him to figure out if he is a right fit for this build. But he certainly is value! Thanks!

@CheeseBro: Swiftspear, while good, is only a threat during turn 1-2. After that she becomes a very weak card and due to me only running 9 non-creature spells in this build her prowess ability would not be triggered very often. So I will not be adding Monastery Swiftspear because there are better options available. Thanks though!

wow! I really like how all the creatures are below 4 manna, which allows collected company to work great. Something I would recommend is Elvish Mystic, Frontier Siege and Whisperer of the Wilds. These would work so you can gain manna really quickly, and can play creatures by the 2s and 3s. These are not necessarily that good, though, since you already have birds of paradise.

If you like and have time, then please look at my I 'm dead on the 5th turn...again. deck. Since I see that you are really good at making decks, and my deck has sort of the same theme, and I would really like for you to look at it, and give me any recommendations. But this deck is definitely is a +1. [:)]

May 12, 2015 10:53 a.m.

Lovely. I would consider more fetches because your mana costs are demanding, but works like a charm.

Exiled_soul says... #24

@amerika00: Thanks for the suggestions and interest! I will have a look at your build.

@FAMOUSWATERMELON: I had thought about adding more fetches. I probably will but I do not want to go too heavy because my life total is precious in this build XD Thanks!

May 13, 2015 11:14 p.m.

Yeah, I can understand that. But in playtesting, I was stuck with one mountain, one forest, and one stomping grounds, and both Ball Lightning and Groundbreaker in hand... Just two more would probably do the job.
