I dont think you meant to say the skullcleaver, cuz thats shit. did you mean Ogre Battledriver? the loyalist isnt worth it, seeing as how the things already got trample.

@DERPLINGSUPREME: Thanks for the comment!

@CheeseBro: Legion Loyalist could have a place here but he is really only great if I have two other attackers. In this build my creatures have a problem staying in play for very long so odds are he would not have buddies XD That and he needs two buddies to be useful, unfortunately Collected Company only pulls two. So, while he is good, I think he would be awkward too often. Also, considering my creatures top off at 3 Minotaur Skullcleaver does not seem like he has enough value as a 3 drop. Thanks for the interest!

have you considered Strangleroot Geist?

May 14, 2015 7:12 p.m.

not powerful enough in my opinion, and there isnt anything good enough to take out for it.

@Exiled_soul If I ever get annoying spouting my opinions (because I know I do sometimes) just tell me, plz don't just start deleting everything I say and never talking to me again.

@DERPLINGSUPREME: Thanks for your comments so far. I have so many decks going on and its nice to have someone else answer / respond to comments instead of me XD

@Stonga: I looked at it when I first built the deck but as DERPLINGSUPREME said its not a good enough replacement for anything in here right now.

@TheAlexGnan: I agree, it has become less casual the more I refine the build. My sideboard options vs twin are pretty strong. They can't deal with Krosan Grip :D but yeah, scapeshift will kill me unless I kill them first. Thanks for the interest in my build.

lol.

nid if I share? well too bad.

I've seen the thing where someone else takes over someone else's ddeck b/c they don't respond to comments, and its either REALLY funny, or really annoying. when its funny, its b/c that person starts trying to impersonate the other person and such, you know what I mean, right? anyhow, the times it goes to shit are when the persons an asshole. "have you considered using a Storm Cauldron" "NO! FUCK Storm Cauldron! Did you even read the fucking list? If you did, you're a fucking dumbass." that stuff.

hope you enjoyed the pointless series of symbols that when arranged in specific punctuated patterns convey meaning!

Vexing Shusher or Summoning Trap for sideboard ?

May 17, 2015 4:37 p.m.

Exiled_soul says... #13

@gab80: Those are both solid cards, I think I will add Summoning Trap to be used against control matchups over Vexing Shusher just because shusher dies very easily :S Thanks!

I found this list after thinking of the ball coco combo. Congregate does look good on paper but it might be too much combo material, more fragile, maybe a tweak for a 1-2 splash, not sure.

Anyway, one hard time I had was vs first strike and fatty WG creatures, I was dead in the water, without enough removal waiting for the bolt that never came.

Having been out of the mtg scene for a long time, I don't know the options, but I'd want some way to complement the existing threat base, like a sac-for-damage for alternative removal/wincon.

I also liked the Cream of the Crop synergy, that alone could be an engine in itself me thinks.

Athreos, God of Passage if you ever wanted to go 4 color :D

May 18, 2015 12:26 a.m.

How about Uktabi Drake and Erdwal Ripper for more hasty creatures?

Strangleroot Geist fills the two mana CMC, has haste and will come back stronger with haste again

Kudos for being the only Collected Company decks I've taken a liking to so far! Really, it's very interesting and oh so deliciously aggressive!

Anyways, I definitely like the thought of Primal Forcemage as a one or two-of, giving your creatures all the more beefiness. If it were more casual, I'd say Xenagos, God of Revels, but I think you've got it locked in a better spot as it is. Though I do also have to agree with Strangleroot Geist. Since your deck is lacking staying power, creatures like that as a minor addition should prove useful I'd think, at least as a tricky beater to keep down. Perhaps subbing out a Hell's Thunder or Goblin Guide, as I think 4 of those might be a bit excessive in lieu of variety. Though play testing could prove otherwise. Just suggestions, and I don't know why, but I feel like a Savage Summoning (though less likely honestly, I just kinda like the card and thought about it since Vexing Shusher was already suggested, plus this one lets you flash in a surprise blocker to trade and unearth later), or even a Guttural Response could go in, as control haters too in the sideboard, in case you find blue getting to be too much of a thorn in your side.

All in all, lovin' the deck though man, good luck on making it blow away your foes!

Anti-blue stuff has no use in modern WolvenKnightmare, since control is non-existent in modern.

May 19, 2015 6:35 p.m.

@femme LIES! LIES AND SLANDER!! however, anti abzan is much better. as for the drake and the vampire, they don't do enough, just like the geist. I still heavily encourage the Sylvan Caryatid however, as it alows you a t3 CC

Wow, thanks to everyone for the comments so far. It's looking like I will do a comment clean up shortly because the list is getting pretty long.

I agree with what many of you have said, the second turn is a bit awkward. Normally I end up dropping a second one drop or dropping a Hellspark Elemental. I am leaning towards 2 more Birds of Paradise to fill that second turn gap or some form of creature who's ETB is draw a card such as Elvish Visionary. Maybe even a ramp card such as Abundant Growth. Or should I just stick some combination of Strangleroot Geist and Sylvan Caryatid's in there? Thoughts?

May 19, 2015 8:12 p.m.

well, how many spots for t2 do you want?

also, for draw, Howling Mine isnt a bad option.

May 19, 2015 8:14 p.m.

Howling Mine is a bad option. VERY BAD.

May 19, 2015 8:37 p.m.

Exiled_soul says... #25

This build is fast enough to not worry about other decks getting much of an advantage off of howling mine. With that being said I do not think it is wise to add any more non creature spells to the build. I will try out some more birds, some Elvish Visionary's and then some Strangleroot Geist. Once I am done that I will update on which one I like more. Thanks everyone!
