The Hive has laid dormant for years, long enough that the fear and devastation laid upon the lands have faded from the minds of men. But deep within the earth…something stirs.

The Hive Breakdown

The hive is a collective, but obey the two most powerful, Sliver Hivelord and the The First Sliver. Both are able to take the lead at the head of the Hive.

The Nasty Synergy

The synergy of this deck obviously rotates through the shared abilities of each Sliver. But there is some great combinations that can occur that really take it to the next level. I won’t bore you with the obvious uses of Coat of Arms and Door of Destinies

Mana Echoes + The First Sliver - cascading slivers to get tons of mana to cast anything from your hand

Mana Echoes + Morophon, the Boundless - essentially free casting.

Thorncaster Sliver + Venom Sliver - attack and mow down anything that would potentially block you, swing hard for tons of damage.

Fungus Sliver + Sliver Hivelord + Thorncaster Sliver - adding +1/+1 counters to your slivers

There are obviously a dozen different win-cons available from using a tribal deck, but my favorite, and with this deck, it can happen turn 4! (albeit, it has to be PERFECT)

• Turn 1. Forest to Sol Ring to Arcane Signet
• Turn 2. Plains, Forest + Sol Ring -> Manaweft Sliver, Plains+Arcane Signet -> Cloudshredder Sliver, left over colorless mana from Sol Ring+Manaweft Sliver+Cloudshredder Sliver -> Chromatic Lantern
• Turn 3. Mountain, Arcane Signet+Chromatic Lantern+Sol Ring -> Mana Echoes, Manaweft Sliver+Cloudshredder Sliver+3 lands -> Sliver Overlord, Mana Echoes produces 3 colorless mana, use to tutor Morophon, the Boundless to your hand
• Turn 4. Land, play Morophon, the Boundless, you get 4 colorless mana from Mana Echoes, tutor your next sliver, repeat….Attack with everything. Sliver abilities will clear the path for destruction in multiple ways.

Might add Root Sliver to use as the first sliver after Morophon, the Boundless to make sure nothing can be countered before opponents realize it is an infinite combo.

I would love some thoughts and suggestions to make these guys do even better. I know fetch lands are a must have, and they will be once I can afford all of them.
