Sideboard

"The Horsemen" is an un-blockables deck that focuses on utilizing the much neglected 'horsemanship' keyword from Portal Three Kingdoms. Creatures with horsemanship can only be blocked by other creatures with horsemanship - which is essentially none in the pauper format.

The deck features exclusively creatures with the type "Human Soldier," which opens us up to cards like Bonds of Faith , Piety Charm , Veteran Swordsmith , and Coordinated Barrage .

I included 16 'horsemanship' creatures and 12 effects that trigger when a creature deals combat damage to a player (which is every time with the horse riders). We can return creatures to our opponent's hand every turn with Sigil of Sleep , tap a creature down every turn with Hands of Binding , and draw a card with Ophidian Eye .

I also included 8 'support' cards. These are Elgaud Shieldmate and Veteran Swordsmith . Elgaud Shieldmate can protect one of our "aura'd up" horse riders from removal and also acts as a nice body to attack with if the opportunity arises. Veteran Swordsmith buffs all our creatures and closes out the game much more quickly. Bonds of Faith can prevent one of our opponent's big creatures from hurting us or potentially boost one of our one creatures to help block or finish out a game.

Overall the deck is quite cheesy and can be slow, but it's pretty fun to play and can get your opponent pretty agitated if you win. Only downside comes with price. If you're playing in paper, this deck is very expensive because of the old cards from Portal Three Kingdoms. The sideboard is still under development, so suggestions are welcome.
