A "Lord of the Rings" Universe Beyond Precon, this Grixis deck can be pulls in several directions, depending on which of the two commanders lead it's forces.

When run by the deck's face commander, Sauron, Lord of the Rings, the focus uses plenty of self-mill and recursion to drop some massive threats onto the battlefield. With a ramp package designed to get to your commander quickly, all must fear when the Dark Lord calls his most powerful allies.

The back-up commander for the deck is Saruman, the White Hand. Utilising the large amount of noncreature spells in this precon, Saruman will Amass an Orc Army larger than any seen before. Protecting both them and his other minions with his wards, they shall lead him to victory in the war for the Ring.

Regardless of the commander, the deck also features a prominent theft sub-theme. Whether it's stealing cards from the top of their library or recurring them from their graveyards, your opponents will be unable to contend with the will of Sauron. After all, there are none who can.

With several noticeable reprints, such as Scourge of the Throne, Reanimate and Anger, this deck is for the Timmys and Tammys, who want to drop the biggest and baddest creatures around.
