The Inevitable Bleed (Mill)

Casual Casual Mill

Setrin

This is a standard blue mill deck with a focus more on ongoing effects than one-drop spells. But that does not mean that they're not there.

The primary strategy of the deck is to get out defenders, particularly Doorkeeper, to begin taking advantage of Doorkeeper's ability to cause more milling depending on the amount of defenders you have. Fog Bank and Wall of Frost are particularly good at making sure your opponent can't attack you and Chronic Flooding will make sure they can't use their prime lands. However, Curse of the Bloody Tome is probably one of the most important cards in the deck as a set of them on an opponent can make them lose 8 cards at the start of each turn before anything else happens.

As far as early game, goes, most of the drop mill and cheaper cards can be cast with a single mana to help spur on the card loss before things are set up fully.

As you can probably guess, this deck has issues dealing with board wipe, removal, and unblockable creatures. It just doesn't know how to handle anything that's already hit the field so you want to try and make sure they can't play their GOOD cards first. It's also not really built for mulitplayer as all of its effects are single target and lose their luster without the stacking potential.
