Nice infect deck, but if you don't draw ur cheap creatures in early game its rather slow I think. I would put in more cheap infect creatures.

Yea, typically I can get 4-6 Poison out fairly quickly, but then I'm hoping I haven't been mana starved in order to get the rest. :/ I was looking at it just last night and I'm thinking of replacing Core Prowler and Corpse Cur ... Not sure what with yet though. I'd like to find something that has an easy way to get through with a card:Vampire's Bite like Plague Stinger .

I think I'm going to add Phyrexian Crusader , Whispering Specter , and Lashwrithe . I've seen some good things online about them, and they might help me keep up my attack or end it quicker.

Remove 2x Corpse Cur , 4x Spread the Sickness , 4x Core Prowler

Add 4x Phyrexian Crusader , 2x Whispering Specter , and 4x Lashwrithe

for starts.

I think that would by a good idea, but keep in 2 spread the sickness and 1 crusader and lasshwrithe less. Spread the sicknes gives nice control and allow you to finish of a player with 5 counters :)

Good point! After I posted I was a little concerned on what control I would have, so I was contemplating adding some Doom Blade s in place of the Spread the Sickness .

I've been working on changing my infect deck recently, so as I was browsing, your's caught my eye. Anyway, I really don't like Whispering Specter . It's 3 mana for a 1/1 flyer... Sure it makes your opponents discard some, but if your winning in a few turns, I don't think discarding is that important. In my opinion, I'd remove the 2 Specters for 2 more Ichorclaw Myr s, as they are faster, and I love their ability- basically giving something a permanent -3/-3 if it's blocked... I just think the Myr's would be better in a fast deck as you have here.

Also, maybe consider Crumbling Ashes . When I saw that card, I immediately fell in love with it and added it to my deck- it is perfect for Infect, and very punishing for the opponent! One -1/-1 counter is all that's needed...

Whispering Specter was just another way to get more flying into the deck, but Ichorclaw Myr would be a good replacement for it.

I think this deck might fair better in Modern, but that's just my take.

It would be nice, but I don't think Dark Ritual is legal in Modern. I may be wrong though.

+1 only one suggestion Go for the Throat instead of doomblade while doom blade protects your own if your playing another mono black or any deck that uses black its a wasted spot in your deck. this is coming from exp

Thanks for the +1! That's a good point. I had the Doom Blade for any artifacts, but I could swap them out for more Go for the Throat . Then leave the Doom Blade in my side board.

Murder might be a better idea. I like the two drop Doom Blade , but one more couldn't hurt. I'll give it a try! Thanks for the input!

Try with Hatred , you know, when someone decides not to block and you don't mind to lose some life

How about some Unmake instead of Murder ?
