MOAR WRATH —June 24, 2019
Been playing against more aggressive decks late like Thromok the Insatiable and Ilharg, the Raze-Boar. I've found that I lacked a good way of dealing with small creature go wide strategies and repeated big hasty beats. For killing swarms I included an additional board wipe in Wrath of God. Sadly, I felt that including Cyclonic Rift (grumble) was the only way to have the flexibility to shore up the haste beats and the go wide plan.
Good by pet cute cards Raff Capashen, Ship's Mage and Hanna, Ship's Navigator. R.I.P. in Pieces. :(

I wouldn't run it personally since I'm not on the land denial game plan. Also, in my experience, I tend to have a larger number of lands. That is a completely fair game plan for Lavinia. Land Equilibrium , Stasis , Mana Breach , Back to Basics , and over Overburden are all good options with Rising Waters as an mediocre backup.
If you want the real mean version you also run Ravages of War , Catastrophe , Armageddon , Sunder , and/or Cataclysm .

I find it interesting that you're not going for the completely cutthroat approach of land denial.
Certainly liked Release to the Wind and wasn't aware of the interaction. Have you tried Mox Diamond and Mox Opal ?

The land denial is a very valid option, just one I have personal dislike for. If your playgroup is more cutthroat or that's a strategy you enjoy then definitely throw that in.
I did consider Mox Diamond , it didn't make it in mostly due to initial budgetary reasons and may eventually make it in if I can find an FTV one for a non-insane price, although that extra mana rock hasn't been necessary.
Mox Opal I had not considered. I don't think my density of artifacts is high enough to consistently turn it on turn 1 or 2 where you really need it. I still don't think I do but I originally hadn't run the artifact lands nor the artifact tutors.
As I work on this would probably prioritize: Obtain WAR stuff > get the MagicFest plains & islands > finish foiling/promo(ing) the current list (
Minamo, School at Water's Edge
,
Cryptic Command
,
Chrome Mox
,
Mana Vault
,
Council's Judgment
,
Nimbus Maze
,
Seat of the Synod
,
Return to Dust
) > then pick up items like
Mox Opal
and
Mox Diamond

If you aren't running land destruction, what about Land Equilibrium to keep those pesky players green players in check? They are probably the least effected color by lavinia. +1
