@Goalith I know what you mean... the new card smell plus the thrill of opening packs is so much more fun then just getting them. I just bought 1 2/3 boxes of Avacyn Restored just to try to get some Cavern of Souls .

I pulled 2 Boros Reckoner as well as a foil Domri Rade in the first 2 boxes I of GC bought, but only have one more box of GC coming. If I do get another Boros Reckoner I'll probably put it up for trade (along with the Domri Rade ). All that will be sorted out in a few days...

Boros Reckoner has gone up again and now is at 25$ so it'd be even better to open some up

Well, you know how to build a deck. I looked and tried to find better cards, or a weakness, but I just can't. I know that your deck is not perfect and I know it have weakness, but perfection can't be attained. I have tough of Slaughterhorn tough, it can't be counter as a +3/+2, but I suppose that you already considered it. Especially since I just can't think of any card to remove for it...

Just wanted to tell you that I finally ordered my dual lands :D (at least a 3of maybe I can trade for the last Sacred Foundry /Temple Garden but the deck should also work with the 3-ofs)

Would you mind if I take your deck to FNM on 02-22? It is just more balanced as my Gatecrash Naya Aggro Humans cause I wasn't able to do enough playtestings...

As for the Lightning Mauler + Silverblade Paladin and Boros Reckoner ... you wouldn't block the paladin but the mauler won't you? cause you will be able to kill the paladin which seems more relevant than the mauler...

If only Nearheath Pilgrim would fit better in this deck... the infinite lifelink combo with Boros Reckoner and Boros Charm is still sick as fuck!

You can fit in any kind of combo you'd like. If you use the deck card for card, i'd like you to reference this, but its not a big deal, you don't need my permission :) (my ego isnt THAT high) If anything, i'm honored that you'd be willing to spend money to play it.

Have you considered Madcap Skills over Volcanic Strength ?

you mean the infinite life combo? ;) so you soulbound Nearheath Pilgrim and Boros Reckoner ... now you wait until your opponent attacks/trys to block your reckoner/use something like Searing Spear on your reckoner --> Boros Charm to make Boros Reckoner indestructable and the reckoner choses himself as a target over and over again so you get infinite life because of the lifelink :)

I'll try your version first and then do some experiments cause I think every shop has a different meta so another version could work better at my shop we'll see ;)

Alright I won't post your deck here again because it wouldn't make much sense :P my naya human aggro deck is copied from no one it was just my first thoughts while spoilers started. But I'll tell you how it worked out for me!

Yes, but right now, with all the aggro and heavy creature amounts, as well as considering EVERY deck i play against is running mountains (or duals that count as mountains) the unblockable, and extra toughness to dodge red moval Volcanic Strength is far better, and proved itself so last night.

I meant the whole Silverblade Paladin combo you were talking about, i know how the infinite combo works :P haha

some days ago you discussed about the following situation:

your opponent controls Lightning Mauler bounded on Silverblade Paladin . Both of them are attacking. you control a Boros Reckoner and chose to block the Lightning Mauler it deals 2 damage to your reckoner in the first damage step. the reckoners abillity triggers and you chose the paladin as a target wich already dealt the first strike damage to you. after the first combat step the paladin dies wich means Lightning Mauler loses double strike and can't kill your reckoner...

man I love Boros Reckoner ... there are so many nice tricks and combos you can use :D

haha in germany it's also up to 13 euros but it's getting more expensive every day ;) luckily I got my playset since they were on 2 ;)

and I answered the question myself xD Lightning Mauler is less relevant for your opponents gameplay so you would kill the Silverblade Paladin because haste hits you just once and double strike hits you every fucking time >.<

when its those two, yes...

but haste is very scary... any new creature you drop in will be able to attack that turn.

okay I think it depends on the situation... the reckoner could also deal easily with the double strike creatures if you give him first strike 'cause he is 3/3. whatever he will definitly win me some games in white weenie and also in naya :3

hmm after everybody played rakdos or RDW my meta changed so that those decks had no more chance to win, because they built their decks around removals so they could beat RDW easily... I wonder if they'll do the same thing with naya aggro...

I think black will be the only color with enough cards against our decks... Victim of Night , Tragic Slip and Abrupt Decay are really anoying...

Board wipes are too, if they stall long enough.

A good esper deck is the most challanging i've had to fight so far.

Decks without black are just a faceroll now.

This deck terrifies me. And I'm primarily a control player. My mission for standard is to make something that can keep up with this with removal. Thanks for the challenge man. I'm thoroughly impressed with everything naya humans is capable of.
