decklist change —Oct. 29, 2014
added a Keranos, God of Storms in place of one Rattleclaw Mystic
add a bit of bur and a bit more ability to run through the deck because anything I didn't put on the field is useless right?

Thanks! I hope you enjoy it! I'd love to see more monster decks roaming around, especially since control lost most of it's core.
I have Kiora, the Crashing Wave in the sideboard in case I run up against a deck that wants to run big flying things like Stormbreath Dragon , or Master of the Feast . Small flying things on the other hand are not an issue. I will usually out pace those and force my opponent onto the defensive which will be covered by trample damage rolling through (its especially fun when you can flash in Surrak Dragonclaw to punish you opponent for trying to only chump block with something like a 1/1).
Polukranos, World Eater
is a solid card. a 5/5 for is solid and fits right in my curve (4/4 for 3, 5/5 for 4, 6/6 for 5, and 7/7 for 6) It also helps that I can monstrosity to beef him up (you can chose to fight 0 creatures) and then Temur Charm
to make him fight something for full strength rather than only what I monsterositied for. I don't like the idea of a 4-of like many decks do though because he is a legendary and will be a dead draw if one already exists on the field. Having 2 like I do I feel is the right number as he should show up quite regularly without getting multiple in a game.

Hey,I've built a similar deck which I have been working on for a couple of months now. While we have similar cards, I think we have different strategies.
I was wondering, how do you deal with flying? Or do you just ignore it and keep pumping the field for the kill? Why do you run Kiora, the Crashing Wave ? I took her out a little while back, I was wondering if I should bring her back.Is Polukranos, World Eater a worthy buy?
my deck is RUG Volume Horizon if you're interested in having a look
