building up the physical deck —Sept. 21, 2014

Four prereleases (ow... my aching wallet and tired eyes) and umpteen trades later I am 4 cards from a completed deck... 1 Sagu Mauler (please be in my preordered box) and 3 Wooded Foothills (PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BE IN MY BOX!)) and it will be ready for rotation!

Edit* my friend has a Wooded Foothills and Sagu Mauler he's trading to me, so only 2 foothills to go!

I'm going to keep suggesting Crater's Claws to Temur players until my fingers are to the bones today haha. The card is a real sleeper right now for midrange decks. Having ferocious active is rarely a problem in a build like this and once your opponent is down to 7 life they're really just dead to this card! I think you could drop a Temur Ascendancy and/or a 5-drop creature for a couple copies.
