First draft of an Abzan "Legendary Superfriends" with Kethis, the Hidden Hand who provides a Legendary spell discount and graveyard recursion of those same spells and Legendary Lands.

Three months ago, I started looking at partner commanders. I had a wild hair to build an Abzan Superfriends deck because all of my favorite walkers are in those three colors. I started pulling cards, got an idea of where I wanted the deck to go, and knowing that I had Captain Sisay in the deck as a planeswalker tutor, why not go all in and do some sort of legendary/historic deck that took advantage of her truly powerful ability. I had a deck list nearly complete, but I just never could decide on a commander or pair of partners that felt flavorful and right. Wizards read my mind. While Kethis may not be the Abzan Commander you wanted, he was definitely the one I needed.

Some of the more interesting interactions:

Honor-Worn Shaku and planeswalkers : Planeswalkers can be tapped to untap the Shaku generating an extra colorless mana for each walker on the board.

Command the Dreadhorde and The Wanderer : The Wanderer prevents all the damage from Command the Dreadhorde and allows you to take all of the creatures and walkers out of graveyards without a cost to your life.

Riftsweeper and Kaya, Ghost Assassin : Riftsweeper can be temporarily exiled until end of turn by Kaya, pulling cards exiled by Kethis back into your hand. It should also be noted that Karn, the Great Creator can retrieve those exiled cards that are artifacts.

Ajani Steadfast and Djeru, With Eyes Open : Ajani's emblem reduces all damage to your planeswalkers to 1. Djeru prevents 1 damage to walkers. Your walkers take no damage.

Helm of the Host and Gideon Blackblade : You can equip the Helm to Gideon on your turn before combat, and the Helm will make a copy, not of the 4/4 creature, but of the planeswalker card that is a creature during your turn. This allows you to build an army of non-legendary Gideons, who can then begin using their planeswalker abilities on each of your following turns/main phases. They also make pretty good attackers or something.
