This Jund Midrange deck features Liliana of the Veil along side legendary creatures Glissa, the Traitor, Olivia Voldaren and Thrun, the Last Troll

Creatures are valuable, legends all the more, and losing your game winner often leads to a loss. Even with two Olivia's I hate losing her. This is why I've 5 mainboard and 1 sideboard spells to take a peak at my opponents hand with Duress, Surgical Extraction and Despise . With some patiences Olivia will come out after Oblivion Ring hits the grave or even better extracted. These three cards are also important for card advantage and removal. 3x Surgical is essential in current Standard with Deliver, Zombies and RG Aggro being so popular.

Olivia Voldaren is my favorite creature in all of magic. How many creatures include flying, removal and can grow them-self when using their removal ability? She takes over the game.

Birds of Paradise and Abundant Growth are there for mana fixing. It is needed since Liliana is played after Strangleroot Geist. Birds also give mana ramp while Abundant also gives card replacement.

Strangleroot Geist is there for card advantage.

Do you play with only a singe Liliana of the Veil? Try playing four and I doubt you'll regret it. When you make the switch don't be afraid of losing her, you have three more and there is no reason to play for her ultimate unless there is nothing better to do.

The sideboard to this deck is extremely important. This deck can easily sideboad to face almost anything in Standard.
