I've got Truefire Paladin in here as my "guildmage" he's better in my opinion than Sunhome Guildmage . He may not be able to throw down tokens or pump others, but with his 2 mana abilities he is deadly. I may try Sunhome Guildmage and see how he does.

I'll probably find a way to make room for Rally the Peasants , because I think I may need a few more bump spells.

Assemble the Legion is a must have here

Assemble the Legion seems too slow to me. By the time I have it out and it starting working I'll have already won.

how about Vigilante Justice ? it runs well in my human Boros, then again i have token generation, but still its great to help whittle down their side

Vigilante Justice , like Assemble the Legion is too slow for a deck for this. If you are spending four mana on an enchantment, you could instead throw down a Lightning Mauler and any other two mana creature and swing with it for far more damage.

thats true, yours is more fast aggro, where mine is midrange, so it works well in that

why no sacred foundry? adds some more dual color and they will help with clifftop retreat

take a look at my boros deck. u might consider adding act of treason to activate battalion more consistently. nice deck idea though, i like your creativity. also, when u have so many creature names, unless they have synergy, will just make your deck lose focus. props to the low cmc too. :)

I'd say replace Firemane Avenger with Hellrider - much greater damage output and the lifegain isn't really that important. I'd have at least 2-3x Hellrider . I'd get rid of the 2x Martial Glory and up Boros Charm to 4 or add more creatures.

You might want a few Cavern of Souls too though they're quite expensive.

Hellrider I've been on planning on getting. Hopefully I'll have a few this Friday. I really would like to run both Martial Glory and Boros Charm . I do however see why I would have a play set in here. Yeah Cavern of Souls is a bit expensive right now. I really would like to have them, but they are too pricey for me right now.

Also, a really great finisher with Champion of the Parish was Thatcher Revolt - because it levels your Champion 3x, it triggers all your battalion effects and it's 3 direct damage.

You might want to think about adding green to this deck for Experiment One and Burning-Tree Emissary which are dominating Standard right now, for Flinthoof Boar which combos with the Emissary and is probably the best standard aggro two drop and for Mayor of Avabruck  ^Flip which can really power up all your humans.

Also I wouldn't run Azorius Arrester in this deck - it has too small an effect. Thalia, Guardian of Thraben or the green two drops above would do much better.

I don't know how casual you want this to be but Naya Blitz is really dominating Standard right now so you could make this very fast and a standard tournament-level deck if you got rid of some of the less useful bits. You can check out my Naya Blitz deck for ideas if you like.

This is actually the deck I use at fnm a lot recently. At one time I did run Thatcher Revolt , but it seemed to slow me down even with a Champion of the Parish on the field. I want to keep the deck just Boros really. I've thought about splashing green at one time, but the original build I had for that idea wasn't working. I agree about switching Azorius Arrester for Thalia, Guardian of Thraben . Once he hits the field and his detain has run it's course, he usually just chump blocks the rest of the time.

I love the 300 flavor. Most of your creatures are white have you considered Brave the Elements ? It could also help you get through blockers. Addtionally, Judge's Familiar or Thalia, Guardian of Thraben may help out against control spells.
