The deck is filled with 1 and 2 ofs, i would suggest figuring out the better cards and getting playsets of those. especially the Lightning Bolts and Lightning Helix. Definitely lower the curve too, unless youre playing ramp or tron modern decks really dont want to run any 6 drops or higher, and as few cards above 4 as possible. Definitely cut the walls too, boros decks are supposed to be fast and aggressive, not hiding behind walls, thats more along the azorious or maybe selesnya colors. But the most important thing is playsets. Pick a strategy and go for it.

You could try getting first turn life advantage by putting in Mutagenic Growth for your Monastery Swiftspear, it's also very versatile so you can play combat tricks with phyrexian mana..

StoneKiller33 Lightning Axe seems like it would work well in your deck.

You're going to need some amount of a sideboard, especially if you want to use this competitively. Deflecting Palm, Searing Blood, and Wear / Tear are great sideboard cards. They're also cheap.

Why are you guys trying to add late game to this deck?

Burn is an aggro strategy. It wants to win by T4/T5... You don't need lifegain aside from the mirror, and maybe Affinity, but artifact hate like Smash to Smithereens is more effective there.

I would take out Eidolon of the Great Revel for more Satyr Firedancer. Maybe Guttersnipe.

...dc1066: Are you serious? Eidolon of the Great Revel is one of the best cards in Tiered burn decks. If anything, the Vexing Devils should be Goblin Guides, but this seems fairly budget, so I didn't want to make that suggestion or the addition of a fetch/shock mana base to help feed Lavamancer and thin the deck.

My thinking is this, you plan to cats LOTS of 1 and 2 drop spells, you're opponent may not depending on what they are up to. Because of that I think Satyr Firedancer works better for this set-up. I could be wrong, I just think it's worth a shot.

The reason Eidolon of the Great Revel is great is because it slows down opponents if they are afraid to cast a spell under 3 mana. It then allows you to do damage with a creature like Monastery Swiftspear, they also might be hesitant to counter because of it. If they do decide to cast a spell under 3 mana it burns them for 2 damage without you casting anything. Which is gold in a burn deck.

Eidolon of the Great Revel is definitely one of the best burn cards out there. In modern almost everything but Tron wants to play a curve of 4 mana and under, so in the majority of your matchups it makes sense to have. The Satyr Firedancer looks really cool, but is not as good as it seems. It is super fragile, and you need to cast spells for it to be in any way good, so in a burn deck you empty your hand pretty quick, and it would be an awful top deck. Plus you are a burn deck, if you are worried about your own life total then you arent playing the deck quite right.

You can check out my Burn deck if you want: Burning Love. However, my main suggestion is Deflecting Palm. It is a way better Lightning Helix. I mean, Lightning Helix will only ever deal three damage and gain three life. Deflecting Palm (for the same cost) can gain you 10 life and deal 10 damage!

Deflecting Palm is a sb card. It's situationally good. Lightning Helix is a better MB card.

Great deck! +1 How does it do at tournaments and FNM?

Thanks Homura! I actually have not played in a tournament and haven't had time to play FNM because I work most Friday nights. I mainly play with some friends and they don't like playing against it that's for sure. It can struggle against lifegain decks if I don't draw a couple Skullcracks tho
