Mycosynth Lattice + Tolarian Academy = a FLOODGATE of blue mana. Cabal Coffers + Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth = a LOT of black mana. Artifact lands will increase the effectiveness of the 'academy.
Try using this land base:
1x Ancient Den 1x Arcane Sanctum 1x Cabal Coffers 1x Choked Estuary 1x City of Brass 1x Command Tower 1x Concealed Courtyard 1x Dromar's Cavern 1x Fetid Heath 1x Godless Shrine 1x Grand Coliseum 1x Hallowed Fountain 1x Island 1x Mystic Gate 2x Plains 1x Port Town 1x Prairie Stream 1x Reliquary Tower 1x Scrubland 1x Seat of the Synod 1x Serra's Sanctum 1x Sunken Hollow 1x Sunken Ruins 2x Swamp 1x Tainted Field 1x Tainted Isle 1x Tolarian Academy 1x Tundra 1x Underground Sea 1x Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth 1x Vault of Whispers 1x Volrath's Stronghold 1x Watery Grave
Now find which cards have unnecessary redundancies and throw out the ones you don't need. Then, toss in things like Karn, Silver Golem (the Mycosynth Lattice turns him into a land-destroyer), and creatures that Zur the Enchanter can fetch, such as Grim Guardian and Underworld Coinsmith . Karn would also give you extra creatures on his own.
There are so many better choices for your main board, and many of them are in your maybe-board. I won't tell you exactly what you should do, but there's plenty of ways to fine-tune and streamline your deck, even though it has amazing potential already with the way it's structured right now. ;)

So can someone explain to me why an effect like Cryptic Command protects you from losing the game if someone targets and removes Lich?

Oh, right, thanks lindleya1, I legitimately forgot that was banned, sorry CommanderFun, my bad... : /
Most of my other suggestions, if not entirely sane, are at least worth looking at though...

Definitively itchin' for some lich! AWESOME deck idea, cool references, nice (to say the least) deck construction...what's not to like? Ah... Zur the Enchanter god I hate him... But not your deck! It's fantastic!

Oh my god, I see another possible card, though I might have already suggested it, knowing me. Venser's Journal would be hilarious, but dangerous to put in the deck. That could easily lose you the game. You could try the Laboratory Maniac gimmick, but that would require that you run Enter the Infinite and Show and Tell in addition to the Omniscience you already have. However, the Show and Tell COULD also serve as an interesting alternate method of getting Lich out. You already have the Academy Rector , so Seal of Doom would be perfect. The Zur deck I use in real life has that combo as an alternative to Omni-Tell, and it works because Zur can fetch the Seal. I call it Omni-Rector, Seal of the Infinite.

Absolutely love this deck. I've always wanted to use the Lich cards myself, but I was never smart enough to really figure out how to do it effectively, and there aren't a lot of people who use them often either. You've definitely inspired me to try and create a deck of my own with it now. A +1 from me for sure.

I just realized, Amulet of Vigor might also be helpful.
