Greetings,

I have really, really enjoyed playing NiTRoBoX's deck Death Gravy Meat Balls, especially in games with 3 or more players. I really want to adapt the deck to Commander and I am using TappedOut as a way of organizing my thoughts on the deck and also to reach out for some smart (and hopefully kind of cheap) options for the deck from all of you. This deck's primary win-con is to mill yourself until a card like Boneyard Wurm or Lord of Extinction is strong enough that you can drop Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord and activate his effect for a win (or at least knock a player or two out from the game).

If you like aggro, or it works better into the decks you are playing against, you could also switch your commander to Varolz, the Scar-Striped. His main combo is to use Varolz, the Scar-Striped and Corpsejack Menace to exile something like Boneyard Wurm or Ghoultree to create a large creature and then throw it at opponents. Varolz can also throw counters onto Silhana Ledgewalker or Tormented Soul if you feel like you really want to swing. Tainted Strike makes your swing lethal if the creature does at least 10 player damage. The ideas for this came from Snacrifice's Varolz, the Cash-Strapped(<15$) deck.

I really enjoy the playstyle of building up a board with some really large creatures, leaving them all as blockers rather than swing, and then winning by sacrificing those creatures. I'm also really, really new to commander still. I am looking for any helpful comments/critique that you have.

What I think this deck needs is more cards that can mill myself in a reliable fashion. The maybe board is really big right now so that it is easier for me to compare cards with graveyard retrieval easier. Many of the cards in this deck are taken from a commander deck that I'm trying Varolz, the Cash-Strapped(<15$) So some of the cards were picked for their low cost. If there are cards that are more effective that would make good additions/replacements please let me know. Thanks very much!
