I'll update the description & MAYBE the list as time goes on. Sideboard is cards I'm not sure I want to trade in or out, yet. (Cold Snap is a card I've used to great success with Darien & 1-2 Soul Sisters/Angelic Accord to make a massive board and heal all of the damage taken. It's not competitive, but it IS fun.) The alt-win condition Near-Death Experience/Angel's Grace is one of the most fun ways to win, but again, it's not especially competitive AND you have to factor in that someone has to attack for lethal & not have other win conditions. It IS really exciting and really hilarious to win with it. The decklist IS super tight, however, but it is absolutely worth it for a win your whole table won't forget. Extraplanar Lens is also obviously a cheap Caged Sun without an Anthem effect, as you're running Snow-Covered Plains. c:

Darien Soldiers was the very first commander deck I ever built and it is an old favorite of mine. I've upgraded this deck several times, and though it IS competitive, I still consider it fairly casual. Any comments, suggestions and etc are always appreciated and accepted.

The idea of the deck is to generally play your cards and smash face, while hiding behind Darien's ability. I've played pillow forts versions of Darien as well, but Darien himself is usually a good enough buffer from attacks, especially when any anthem cards are out (Coat of Arms!)

Your win condition is, obviously, a wide board of buffed up soldiers, but effects like Akroma's Memorial(or sometimes Akroma herself) and Odric will get you that swing to their face.
