There is always a price to pay for freedom, but how far are you willing to go?

My definition of "playing cards for free" means not needing to tap lands for mana in order to cast them or use the cards ability. Whether you have to remove/discard cards, begin the with them in play, pay life, tap creatures, or cards that straight up cost 0 mana, then I consider it to be free. I'm not going to include every land because that is not only a given, but there is already a list of every land stated here.

A big thanks to rshizzle, Caes, Sinist3r, and shuflw for helping me complete my list.

If there any cards that I have missed, suggest them and I'll add them to the list. Should I add suspend cards? Cards that untap lands like Cloud of Faeries, Frantic Search, or Snap? Should dredge be included? What about contraptions? Should I include other MTGA only formats such as Historic, Brawl, or Explorer? And lastly, what about other formats such as Oathbreaker or Pioneer? Let me know down in the comments on your thoughts about the definition of free cast/similar effect and what should or shouldn't be allowed. And lastly, if there were any bans of any of these cards in any of the formats, let me know. I don't really keep up to date with a lot of the formats.
