Introduction

This is my first attempt at a cEDH list. The moment I see this commander spoiled, I knew that I had to build something around him. After toying around some ideas, I've decided to try brewing a build that aims to control and manage the board till I'm able to assemble my infinite mana combo pieces. As long as I can generate infinite , I'll be able to just cast my commander to win by activating his looting ability ad infinitum to either win with his generated hasted tokens or to draw into Blue Sun's Zenith. I will never deck out as I will eventually loot into Kozilek to reset the chain.

Combos

The main gameplan is to try to generate infinite to be able to win with infinite hasted Insect tokens. With infinite mana, I will be able to activate my commander's loot ability infinite times. Kozilek, Butcher of Truth keeps the loop infinite so my library will never run out. The following is the main combo I use to generate infinite mana. I do have Mana Flare and Extraplanar Lens as High Tide backup:

High Tide + Palinchron or Palinchron + Phantasmal Image = Infinite mana

• Have six Islands and a Mountain on the battlefield, with High Tide and Palinchron in hand.
• Cast High Tide. Your remaining five Islands now tap for UU.
• Tap all seven of your lands to cast Palinchron, you should have left over; untap all your lands.
• Tap all lands for 12 and to activate Palinchron's ability to return him to your hand.
• Repeat steps 3-4, gaining for each iteration.

The following are combos that work with our commander to win with Laboratory Maniac:

• Ashnod's Altar + Skullclamp + The Locust God = Draw entire library + colorless mana
• Phyrexian Altar + Skullclamp + The Locust God = Draw entire library
• Mana Echoes + Skullclamp + The Locust God = Draw entire library

I've also included Paradox Engine as another way to generate infinite mana:

• Dramatic Reversal + Isochron Scepter + Paradox Engine
