Junk_Heap reminds me of my Deathtouch Annoyance (Casual) and Deathtouch\First Strike\Vigilance Abuser decks where i'll have rats and snakes flying in the air with greaves on and pitchforks and claws haha. Dont look at them, theyre terrible decks xD

Hi, I'll leave a better comment soon once I've had a chance to take a closer look. In the meantime, I might suggest Entangler which I use in my own creatureless deck, Narset's One Woman Show.

- Thanks for the suggestion on Entangler. The deck used to have a few defensive cards like that but they were removed because the deck's strategy is very aggressive and you want Isamaru, Hound of Konda to attack every turn, controlling the tempo of the game by keeping the opponent on their back foot. Entangler combined with Spirit Mantle, Holy Mantle, or Unquestioned Authority could stop my opponent from swinging at me, but I would have to take a turn off from attacking since I don't have a way to give Vigilance to Isamaru, Hound of Konda. I think there are some niche scenarios where Entangler could be useful, but not enough to warrant its inclusion. I am interested in hearing other suggestions you have!

Junk_Heap, this deck is both impressive and efficient. Your deck has this ultra-aggressive tempo where you just attack relentlessly. I like it, I can only imagine that it'd be nothing but frustrating to play against. In combination with your stax pieces you could utilizing something like Icy Manipulator? For 1v1, i'd hate to be your opponent. Good job!

- Thank you for the kind words and suggestion! Icy Manipulator has always been one of the cards I have considered for the deck but never put in. Its obviously a very good card and has general utility; tapping our opponent's resources, tapping blockers for Isamaru, Hound of Konda, and tapping Winter Orb or Static Orb so that we can get a full untap step. It does cost 5 mana the turn its played to get any utility out of it and only hits one target. In the same role of resource denial Kismet may be better, but even then I am not sure what I would remove from the deck to make room for either of them. I think Icy Manipulator is a card worth testing out at some point.

Thank you for all of the suggestions! Regarding Brave the Sands, I like idea of granting Vigilance from a source other than an aura so that when Isamaru, Hound of Konda invariably dies we get to keep the effect going. This deck wants to swing with Isamaru, Hound of Konda each turn and deal more damage, though, so I think I prefer Always Watching instead. Its less defensive than Brave the Sands and has a higher CMC, but it also boosts Isamaru, Hound of Konda with more power and toughness. Dealing one additional damage may not seem like much, but it can make the difference between finishing the game and giving the opponent another turn. What do you think?
The fetchlands are run to thin the deck (I know its not much but every little bit helps) and for getting more utility from Scroll Rack when we do not have our Land Tax on the battlefield. Admittedly the fetchlands had more function when Sensei's Divining Top was still legal, but I think they are still worth keeping in for the opportunity cost they provide.
Ring of Thune and Sword of Vengeance have both been tried and Hero's Blade has been considered. Ring of Thune has a cheap cost but losses most of its utility, adding counters, when Isamaru, Hound of Konda dies; its a slower version of Ordeal of Heliod. Sword of Vengeance adds power and keywords we like but its just too expensive. I am likely to cast it and not equip it until the following turn. While that does sometimes happen with Sword of Fire and Ice and Sword of Feast and Famine those pieces of equipment are much more valuable. Hero's Blade got me excited when it was first spoiled bit I cooled to it after further review. It is only good if Isamaru, Hound of Konda dies; otherwise its another piece of equipment that is cast and then equipped on the following turn. I think that would be fair if it also added some evasion (Trample, Menace, or Flying) but as a straight power buff I can't find a slot for it.

Hero's Blade is a 2 drop with insurance, you pop it down if you have it and when Isamaru, Hound of Konda dies (which im sure he will) when you playy him again its a free equipment, then you can throw down whatever is in your hand without having to worry about blades equip, so if its the second time you cast the dog, thats a 5/4 for 3 also, your opponent will see it and think "if i kill the pup, he gets stronger"
though, i could see why you would choose otherwise, thats just my thoughts

- You are correct about Hero's Blade being insurance against removal for Isamaru, Hound of Konda. Getting a 5/4 pup instead of a 2/2 pup for an ever increasing mana cost is beneficial. This deck struggles against Mono-Black Control decks which can regularly remove Isamaru, Hound of Konda from the battlefield and, depending on how the new meta shapes up, Hero's Blade may earn a spot. Consider it on my watch list!

I love it, but like you said in description: risky. A Savra, Queen of the Golgari commander deck picking up steam or similar can really make the game unpleasant for you

- Thanks for the compliment and the upvote! "Simple" is one of the best words to describe this deck.
- You are correct that an opposing deck centered around sacrificing creatures would give this deck a hard time. The biggest challenge for this deck are decks that can consistently remove (destroy/exile, sacrifice, or bounce) Isamaru, Hound of Konda and follow it up with card draw; black and/or blue control decks. Attaching Swiftfoot Boots or Champion's Helm can help but a well-timed Winter Orb or Armageddon is best. Success depends completely on what cards you draw.

may I suggest switching Swiftfoot Boots with Lightning Greaves? it gives it extra protection, maybe a little too extra. or maybe Prowler's Helm? it makes it unblockable except by Walls. or better yet, add Hot Soup. unblockable period but if dealt damage it dies. which would not be a good thing if it weren't for your Hexproof equipment (and two swords) giving it protection from shooting spells making it an unblockable pup period. you should also add in Caged Sun giving your commander +1/+1 and having all your plains provide double which will be really helpful.

Thanks for the upvote! Regarding Swiftfoot Boots and Lightning Greaves, I prefer Swiftfoot Boots because I can still apply auras and equipment to Isamaru, Hound of Konda after they are attached. Lightning Greaves need to be attached last, which can be a liability, because it grants Shroud instead of Hexproof.
Cards like Prowler's Helm and Hot Soup are always a consideration along with cards like Trailblazer's Boots. For granting evasion to Isamaru, Hound of Konda, however, they just don't stack up to other cards like Holy Mantle which grants evasion and additional power for the same effective CMC.
This deck runs Gauntlet of Power instead of Caged Sun because it has a lower CMC even though it can also help our opponent. In my experience the lower CMC of Gauntlet of Power tends to be worth the possible drawback.

Is there any point to having fetchlands in a mono colored deck? Also, you might want to consider Assault Suit so the doge can't be sacrificed.

Wrt Gauntlet of Power vs Caged Sun, I've heard it said that symmetrical effects are rarely actually symmetric. The idea is that a mono-white deck has 100% use of a white gauntlet of power where any other colour combination will never get as much value from it.

- You have it exactly right on the comparison of Gauntlet of Power and Caged Sun - the effects granted by Gauntlet of Power tend to not be fully symmetrical. It's generally only a dead card when staring down a swarm of white creatures.

- Regarding Assault Suit that is some spicy tech! Its pricey to cast and equip but it boosts power and prevents us from sacrificing Isamaru, Hound of Konda to Diabolic Edict style effects. It's on the consideration list and I will have a strong eye towards it as the meta develops. Thanks for the suggestion!
