This deck aims to ramp out its commander asap to generate big amounts of elemental tokens. Many lands can be sacrificed to either their own effects, Sylvan Safekeeper or Zuran Orb . Azusa, Lost but Seeking , Oracle of Mul Daya , Wayward Swordtooth and Exploration provide more land drops per turn which is crucial for getting out the big creatures and combos well with Crucible of Worlds or Ramunap Excavator in conjunction with fetchlands or Strip Mine effects or Glacial Chasm - and of course the commander herself. Quirion Ranger can also ramp for a turn and goes well with Ashaya, Soul of the Wild . Ashaya transforms all creatures into lands so you can get Woodland Bellower , Fierce Empath , Apex Devastator , Craterhoof Behemoth , Eternal Witness , Reclamation Sage or Avenger of Zendikar to trigger an additional time or to create fodder for Fauna Shaman . The deck has much tutoring going on. This lets it act as a kind of toolbox where you can most likely fetch something to bring you out of a certain situation or boardstate. Of course, mono green is a bit limited and cannot deal with everything. You just have to ramp fast enough to not face any problems. The decks best removal is Beast Within , against opposing commanders, Kenrith's Transformation and Song of the Dryads can work wonders. Hall of Gemstone can be a nice and protective piece as well against multicolored decks (especially when they don't have rocks out and, thus, have to rely on lands).
