Also debating making the following change:
1xChalice of the Void --> 1xTrinisphere for combo & control match-ups
AND
1xFabricate --> 1xArtificer's Intuition, as the intuition is tutorable with Muddle the Mixture and acts a far more efficient Fabricate for any small artifacts I may need, leaving the remaining two Fabricates open to fetch Pili-Pala AND/OR other wincon's.

Thoughts?

What do you mean don't BM with this deck? What's BM mean?

Bad manners. In this case BM'ing would involve drawing your whole deck with Staff of Domination, playing Auriok Salvagers and Aether Spellbomb into play, bouncing Auriok Salvagers back to your hand with the bomb, then replaying it and activating its ability to get Aether Spellbomb out of the yard, returning the Spellbomb to your hand with Auriok Salvagers spit rinse repeat.

I'm honored that you find my deck worthy of building, given it's price! Thank you so much 3n3rgy2! Please let me know how it performs. And again, thank you!

I'm only commenting to inform you that I did not faint. I know, surprising, but I am very impressed with the deck. It's a mean and very well-created deck. You can answer everything and every card has an intended purpose. As a new player, I respect that. I am not qualified to make suggestions. Even if I was, I have none to make.

In other words, you done good. +1 from me, +10000 if I could.

Thank you very much Figag! Although I am a little disappointed that I won't be able to +1 the fainting list. :P

No problem! Very unique deck, lots of interesting interactions, looks like a blast to pilot! My cards should be here in a couple of days and I couldn't be more ready to recycle!

In the Living End match-up you say to sideboard in Leave No Trace against Damping Matrix. Obviously, that won't work. The only thing I see that can deal with it is Hurkyl's Recall.

Right... I'll fix that immediately. Thank you Scud422.

In competitive play this deck has favorable match-ups against other combo decks, including Splinter Twin. The worst match-ups come from Junk Aggro, Bloom Titan, the recently banned Pod decks, and most other forms of extremely fast/hatebears Aggro decks. Control decks buy and large are a breeze, since they have slow clocks, which gives you time to draw Cavern of Souls. As to how this deck does in competitive play, I have regrettably never been able to take this to a true modern tournament. At FNM's and against friends with T1-2 modern decks, The Minefield holds it's own quite well. I would expect it to do well in tournaments, given the fact that so few competitive pili-Pala combo decks exist. However, as I previously stated, this deck is untested on a competitive scene. I cannot guarantee success, though I do believe that the versatility and sturdy nature of this combo deck would result in it having an outstanding performance on the competitive scene. Assuming that anyone who builds this deck does take it to a tournament, any and all feedback on its performance would be invaluable. Thanks in advance guys. You're all awesome!

As a general rule of thumb, any deck that runs Stony Silence and enough disruption to consistently play it or any deck which both runs a high amount of disruption and is capable of a turn 4 win through minor disruption is a deck that is favored against The Minefield. Of the later, no such deck exists. Twin is closest to the description, but it simply doesn't have enough disruption both to protect its own combo components and counter The Minefield's combo cards. Heartless Summoning Combo and Bloom Titan both are capable of faster wins than The Minefield but are less consistent. Statistically The Minefield should be favored against both of the aforementioned. Practically... It depends on whom drew what. Some versions of white weenies and b/w tokens run Stony Silence, but their clocks are slow enough that The Minefield should have time to fetch Leave No Trace and combo off before it ends up dead.

Although thinking it through, I have the resources to try both. I will build, goldfish, play, and test both versions and shall update. I am excited to play bomberman though!

Thank you so much 3n3rgy2. I know it's not nearly enough of a thank you, but I have listed both you and Crazybop09 as co-builders of the deck. Your feedback is invaluable to me! Thank you so much again!
