Take out all of those enchantantts. 4 bblod crypts 4 temple of malice. Substitute for the gates in meantime. Take out warchanter its horrible. More deathbellows more kragma warcallers until u can get 4 rrageblood shamans and boros reckoners. Id say no brderlands. 4 fanatics instead n take out grey merchants. Maybe 1 or two more butchers. If you have a rageblood all your taurs wil be out of drwn in sorrow range and only the skullcleaver would get hit by anger of the gods. I do mine like this with more of a red devotion route with splash black for kragma, deathbellow regen , ragemonger, and whatever black removal that works best in your area. Ive been thinking about thunderous wth the trample. Also If you anger of the gods with boros reckoner out you can redirect that 3 damage to a playr or creature. Hope that helped a lil. I run 4 nykthos btw. N not to say grey merchant is bad but I think its better in a non tribal deck just using felhides to copy grey merchants and fnatics while running mogis and purph. And basically just running alot of spot and mass removal

Remove:
1x Viper's Kiss
1x Shock
And here's some suggestions:
Add:
2x Rageblood Shaman . Really good devotion card in minutaur decks.
4x Titan's Strength Really nice power giving card. Also scry 1.
4x Magma Jet Scry 2 and 2 dmg. Really nice!
2x Deathbellow Raider 2/3 regenerate for 2 mana. Nice nice.
4x Rakdos Cackler Nice one drop. 2/2 when unleashed. for one hybrid mana.
2x Mogis, God of Slaughter Powerful god and is also a minotaur. :)
2x Fanatic of Mogis Damage making creature. Nice nice.
And if you have some more money you also can get best red devotion card in standard: Boros Reckoner
There's my suggestions. +1 from me. You have a a good start for your deck.
Check out my budget Rakdos aggro deck. :)

Why would you not have 4 Minotaur Skullcleaver in your deck? Such a fast card with power ups.

Sideboard 4 Duress in against control to get rid of their supreme verdicts. Looks good!

Also, switch out Weight of the Underworld for Ultimate price. Instant destruction is usually always better than auras. Lightning Strike for Bolt of Keranos, or Magma Jet if you want to keep the scry. Throw in a Whip of Erebos for some lifegain and I think you'll be solid.

samuraizack I would add Ultimate Price but I'm trying to stay away from the RTR as much as possible with this deck. if i add Lightning Strike or Magma Jet it will be in the side board. if Door of Destinies does not work out (have not played a game with it yet) then I will swap with Whip of Erebos and Duress is a great sidebording idea

That's fair, but I think Weight of the Underworld is a terrible card and has no place in constructed. The same thing with bolt of keranos, you're better swtiching it with one of those better spells. That 1 mana difference will mean the world sometimes.

samuraizack both those cards have been long at the top of my cut list, I just been putting off getting Bile Blight to replace them

If you add in Mogis, God of Slaughter (recommended) I recommend you also add some Diabolic Tutor to combat the inconsistency with him and your Door of Destinies and Whip of Erebos . How's your card-draw? Do you end up with a single card in your hand often? Read the Bones is also a fantastic spell, so if you do, you might want to add one or two of these.
And what's with the Elixir of Immortality ? Seems rather counter-intuitive with the Whip of Erebos . The Whip has life-gain, and if you use the Elixir then the Whip can't revive the dudes.
And Bolt of Keranos ? How about Magma Jet ?

Also, if you can manage 4x Rageblood Shaman , that would be perfect.
Sweet deck, I've been aiming at making a tribal Minotaur myself.

Sorry, I missed the fact you were asking for Sideboard.
Well, Duress /Thoughtseize would be great, as you want to keep your creatures alive. Alternatively, Mind Rot for random wrench-throwing. Diabolic Tutor would still be good in matches where you need to hurry a bit, but some more Read the Bones would probably fill that niche better, since you could arrange for land-drawing, if need be.
Also, I love Magma Jet , but I'm also originally a Blue player, so Scry is something I've got a soft-spot for. I really think it would be handy in this sort of deck, though.

Check out my deck Minotaurs Smash FNM. Its got a few cards that i'd suggest for your deck. Though if your going for Fanatic of Mogis for devotion damage, you'll probably want to avoid the black cards I'm talking about. My minotaurs play a different game, going more aggro for the win.

I don't know if this is how you like to play, but you could try to add Showstopper into your deck. That way if there is any removal, it's damage to your opponent's creatures for every creatures you lose and opens up for hasty minotaurs. Or possibly Dictate of Erebos because with a swarm of minotaurs, players are bound to be targeting key creatures. Also, have you thought of Door of Destinies ? Nice deck.

Five-Alarm Fire you could try looking into this for the side board. more bang for your buck. Nice deck. +1

Is this suppose to be post rotation? If not, you need Boros Reckoner as 3 devotion to red, plus being a Minotaur and is a huge threat. What about Gnarled Scarhide mainboard? He is a great 1 drop being a 2/1. You could also bestow him onto an opponent's creature so they couldn't block if it came down to that. Try to add maybe some burn/kill with Lightning Strike , Stoke the Flames , or Dreadbore . Maybe take out 2 deathbellow and a fanatic for some Minotaur Skullcleaver He is a sick Minotaur.
I would definitely add more Temple of Malice and Blood Crypt if you could. Side board could be possibly more burn/removal perhaps? Just my thoughts.

bdal post rotation, so no to Boros Reckoner and Blood Crypt if Gnarled Scarhide bestow cost was lower then i would main board him. Magma Jet is enough burn for now. and Minotaur Skullcleaver ability only last for one turn, and i can get Deathbellow Raider out faster.

I feel that the first and most important improvement to any deck is the mana base. I would invest in 4 blood crypt and 4 mutavault. Mutavault is a minotaur, and this deck seems to want land that come into play untapped.
August 22, 2014 5:31 p.m.
I use Weapon Surge in combo with Felhide Petrifier and Rageblood Shaman . Makes for a nasty surprise when they realize their creatures aren't killing your creatures as well, unless they also have first strike, in which case it may be worth the trade for you use this as a removal option against bigger first strike or double strikers your opponents may have.
I've also recently added a couple Generator Servant 's in place of 2 of the Deathbellow Raider 's for casting some of the bigger 4 and 5 drop minotaurs. Works well in combo with Ragemonger .
Here's my minotaurs. Slightly different, but much the same. The Labyrinth

Hey man, I like your list. I would really appreciate some thoughts on my post rotation version. It's slightly different and a smaller curve inches it closer to aggro beats. Check it out here: ... and that's no BULL! (Post Rotation)
In regard to your deck, I would consider Minotaur Skullcleaver , possibly replacing Felhide Petrifier which I would move to the sideboard. Your minotaurs should trample weenies and mid-size critters while Skullcleaver's 4-power haste keeps the pressure high in the early mid-game. You can always bring Petrifier back in against Green and other fatty totting decks.
Hope you check out my list and +1 from me!

Consider switching Doom Blade for Terminate, more flexible and better effect for a more specified mana cost
JimothyCrikkett says... #1
I'm definitely liking what we have here so far. Doom Blade is fun removal, though I suggest throwing in a Go for the Throat or Ultimate Price to KO any creatures, especially in mono-color decks. Just a thought. Great deck, though. +1
