The Never Ending Story

Modern Combo Enchantment Tokens

MrKavanagh

This deck uses Paradox Haze to overrun the field with tokens of powerful creatures, gain life, and with any luck grant you additional turns with up to 7 upkeeps per turn.

Goal of this deck:

Get Paradox Haze out onto the battlefield early game, use cards such as Followed Footsteps/Venser's Journal/Growing Ranks/ Mirror-Sigil Sergeant out onto the battlefield to take advantage of their upkeep effects multiple times.

Zur the Enchanter's attacks will help you to get more Paradox Haze/ Copy Enchantment s onto the battlefield!

I decided to add Phyrexian Metamorph to the mix so that it would give me an extra mana option if needed with Alloy Myr , but also to create copies of other creatures.Make copies of creatures!

Attatch Followed Footsteps to the following creatures to make clones, for example:

Mirror-Sigil Sergeant - Each upkeep, not only will a new copy come out, but its effect will in turn make more copies, thus breaking open the battlefield with intense amount of creatures you clone!

Phyrexian Metamorph - Copy opponent's creatures! I have a friend who loves Blightsteel Colossus, he would hate him if every turn I put up to 7 copies of him on my side of the field

Meddling Mage - Each turn, take more and more playable cards out of their deck, start with low mana cost and work your way up! Everyone hates a dead draw, give them 20!!

Fog Bank - Create an endless supply of blockers!

Chronozoa - keep taking counters off and making more copies!

Azor's Elocutors - WHat's more dangerous than a win condition card? 10 win condition cards!!

Sower of Temptation - Oooh, those are some pretty creatures you have there, mind if I take them all?

It never ends!

DEADLY COMBOS:

If you can max level a Lighthouse Chronologist it gives you extra turns! That's double, triple, even 4 times the upkeeps!

Get Azor's Elocutors onto the battlefield, his effect goes off each upkeep, meaning on the third upkeep of your turn, if he has 5 counters YOU WIN! No waiting for your opponent's turn, wondering if he will destroy him!

Best cards for multiplayer: Sen Triplets with Paradox Haze will give you the option to look at multiple player's hands. With any luck you can look at up to 3 other player's hands in a 4 player game, use Chromatic Lantern's ability to play their cards with your untapped mana of any colour.

DISCLAIMER: I am not responsible for any violent acts taken upon you by friends/opponents because of the anger this deck will cause. Please use responsibly.

Fun Facts:In case you didn't notice, Paradox Haze is uncommon! That's right, the card that creates massive combo is an uncommon, well how about that...

Test Played it the other day against my life gain deck:

Game 1: Lost, due to lack of mana

Game 2: Won, Martial Law + 3 upkeeps from 2 Paradox Haze helped me win even with an Iona, Shield of Emeria on the battlefield. Kept pumping out more Chronozoas

Game 3: Won, Sen Triplets, stole enough land from my angel deck's hand that I could play Iona, Shield of Emeria and banned white cards from play.

Game 4: Won: Copy Enchantment on opponent's Celestial Mantle got my life up to 80 while Fog Bank stopped their attacks. Finished game with 16 Mirror-Sigil Sergeants on the battlefield

Game 5: Won: 4 upkeeps per turn, with Followed Footsteps on Meddling Mage, HOly hell, this is by far my favourite combo in this deck. banned theses cards: Oblivion Ring, Quicksilver Amulet, Celestial Mantle, Iona, Shield of Emeria, Akroma, Angel of Wrath, Ajani's Pridemate, Day of Judgment etc... twas retarded.
