You're going to need all 4 Flooded Strand to support Treasure Cruise. Your 3 drop spot is also really clogged up. You may have to make some cuts.

I'll be building my own jeskai tokens control counter burn as well but this gives me a good base! I think rabble masters spot gets taken by the monks and in its place would go more burn or swift spear.

I think Monastery Mentor is way better here than Goblin Rabblemaster, but I like Rabble too much to let him go completely.

Most lists I've seen run Chandra, Pyromaster. I'm not a fan of her, so cut her and a Goblin Rabblemaster for Monastery Mentor, and cut 2 Seeker of the Way for 2 Soulfire Grand Master.

Perfecting mana bases can be difficult, but i think -1 plains +1 shivan reef can get that perfect pie/ +1 though, it's awesome!

I don't know about cutting a Treasure Cruise. If you must cut one in the main deck, I would keep the 4th in the sideboard against control or other long matches.

I'd like to fit a 4th Cruise into the mainboard actually..I'm just not sure where to cut to fit it in, lol.

This should have some Dissolve in the sideboard for people running drowns and such, but iguess with enough prowess those fellas are pretty safe. Or for board wipes maybe some Ajani's Presence for board wipers. maybe? i dunno looks like a real pain in the butt to play against.

seems tough on Dissolve though. I think I'd rather just run another Negate.

Ajani's Presence is a good idea. I'll see if I can fit a couple in somewhere.

Omfg I just shit bricks when I saw what they priced for the Mentor and Grand Master. both over 20 bucks a piece. Rightfully so, but that just shot my hopes of continuing my build. :/ Hopefully they drop in price some after the initial hype.

Yeah, their prices are really high. I hope I pull one at prerelease...But, I'll manage to finish this build. My friends lend me most of the cards I need. :3

Well, it's certainly good to have those kinds of friends. I am new to my area, I move a lot, so I don't know anybody that well.

Goblin Rabblemaster is simply the better 3-drop. The synergy with Stoke The Flames should not be overlooked. I'm not sure if Monastery Mentor has a place in this deck, but it's hard to say at this point.

I'm going to have to say that Monastery Mentor is just too slow and weak in a token deck. It may bring out one or two tokens. Point in case here, MAY. Monastery Mentor, at best, belongs in a control deck where you have the resources to just let him (her? I can't tell, no obvious boobs) sit on the board and protect it.

I'm definitely looking forward to trying it, but I do agree that Goblin Rabblemaster while probably end up being better.

The fact that it impacts the board the turn it comes down makes it better IMO.

I think that in the late game, Monastery Mentor will be better though, because once I have enough mana, I can play it and trigger prowess to get tokens on the same turn (or in response to removal).

I'm thinking eventually I'll go to 4/2 between them.
