I was playtesting with Crowd's Favor, and although it isn't much, with jeskai ascendancy you can cast it 100% for free. Also, I know your testing with Monastery Mentor concluded that he wasn't all that great in a token deck, I was trying using just 4 monastery mentor and he worked really well once I dropped the number of creatures and added more trigger to his ability. Plus with the convoke spells and jeskai ascendancy, I triggeded his ability 4 times in one turn.

Crowd's Favor does nothing for the deck. What's the point of playing it over anything I already have?

a free spell to trigger jeskai ascendancy. Use the convoke from a goblin token the untap that token again right away with prowess triggers for the whole team.

My point was, there is nothing worth removing from the deck to add it. It does basically nothing for me overall.

I'd rather play burn spells.

I used to run a token deck. I played a card almost everyone complimented me on that a lot of people simply forgot about. It won games out of nowhere and a started a little trend in my LGS of people abusing the card. and the card was.... Fortify I ran a real nasty white weenie 1 drop flier deck. And while it's not legal anymore, Trumpet Blast is. While it doesn't save you from a Drown in Sorrow, it still gets surprise wins out of absolutely nowhere. If your opponents aren't ready for it, it will surprise the crap out of them and win you games. If you swing, they declare blockers then cast Trumpet Blast before combat damage, you'll probably get in for a at LEAST 2 extra damage, and probably kill 1/2 bockers or even make them waste removal on a token. I'd try it out in place of those collateral damage's.

Blame TheHroth and his stupid font colours. They are bloody well irritating as hell to read. Never change the font colour, no one likes it.

How would a one off Soul of Theros go for the deck? lets you get A LOT of damage through and it doesn't matter if you pitch it to Jeskai Ascendancy. Also, how do you deal with things like Siege Rhino? I wonder if Valorous Stance could replace Ajani's Presence?

The only problem with Soul of Theros is that 6 mana is a helluva lot...

Valorous Stance can definitely replace Ajani's Presence, but I'll probably end up switching it to the MB then...

Also I've been thinking about Monastery Mentor more, and it would make running Devouring Light super easy...

You're right in that 6 mana is a lot, and you definately don't want to see him in your opening hand, but Soul can take down a rhino by himself. and he does provide a mana sink, especially if you hit the point of top decking.

What could I take out to fit him in then?

I'd probably cut a Seeker of the Way. I wouldn't run more than one but I think he has merit. Especially since you can pitch him and still get value. That being said, I don't personally play much standard so I'm being completely subjective here :P Your call at the end of the day though.

Another card yo ucould look into is Alesha, Who Smiles at Death. She gives you good recursion on basically all of your creatures. Probably better for SB though against removal heavy matchups.

Asher18, white sun's zenith isn't standard anymore, the commander decks are a different format than standard. It would be a nice suggestion though if it were legal though.

Have you tried Jeskai Charm, because it seems really good with all the tokens, also, its bonus burn.

TheGamer!! My fellow Jeskai fanatic...help me build this! (SB is all theoretical).

The deck looks good as of right now. I still feel it's missing that burst draw spell like Treasure Cruise. I would try to fit in in here as a 2 of at least. And then, I feel Jeskai Charm should be included or highly considered as well. The burst damage and lifelink or just 4 damage to the face can be super useful.

As far as cuts, I feel you don't need Dragon Fodder since you have Secure the Wastes and Hordeling Outburst. And you may want to consider running a 4-2 split between Lightning Strike and Wild Slash. Even though the slash triggers ascendancy for a low cost, its a terrible burn spell that kills next to nothing.

Even though the SB is hypothetical, i'll tell you Commune with Lava is just a terrible card. Maybe as a fun blowout card you can play Descent of the Dragons.

Dragon Fodder is best when followed by a T3 Goblin Rabblemaster, but I think you're right about cutting some copies. I'll go down to 2, and add Treasure Cruise in its place.

How is Commune with Lava terrible? It is essentially a draw X spell in . You can play lands exiled with it, and in a deck with such a low curve, if I fire it off for X=2 or X=3, chances are I'll be able to play all the cards exiled with it on the next turn. Now, Outpost Siege is definitely better, but I want to try Commune with Lava at least.

Descent of the Dragons is definitely worth considering. If only it weren't a sorcery.
