I would say drop one or two Selesnya Charm and replace them with some Druid's Deliverance

No..Selesnya Charm is too good. While Druid's Deliverance is a Fog + Wake the Reflections , the charm is so much more.

First utility is with Wayfaring Temple for trample to ensure a polulate trigger.

Second utility is obvious enough, removing opponents threats, such as Polukranos, World Eater , Desecration Demon , all the while removing fodder from Scavenging Ooze (which the charm can deal with as well, lolz).

Third ability...if I'm desperate? 2/2 Knights arent great, even with vigilance, but if it's all I got to save myself, I'll do it.

I know but I still night take out one to replace or at verry least sideboard it because honestly. The look in someone's face when when u pull that fog shit is just too good. I should know for that expression has crossed my face on more then one occasion.

Good suggestion. What should come out though?

Nyx-Fleece Ram in the sideboard against aggro/faster decks will work very well. Also, I feel Voice of Resurgence needs a place, maybe -2 Sundering Growth (move it to the sideboard) and -1 Growing Ranks and +3 Voice of Resurgence . But I love populate and this a great example of that type of deck. +1

@BoardFire Thanks! Good call on Nyx-Fleece Ram . The reason I don't have Voice of Resurgence here is because it was originally a budget deck, until I added Temple Garden and Temple of Plenty . I suppose I could add it now though. I really want to keep Sundering Growth mainboard though, because there are so many enchantments in standard right now.

im having a hard time against mono green and temur midrange any sideboarding/gameplay tips?

Do you have your deck list on here so I could take a look at it? As I'm sure our lists are different, the sideboarding will depend. One thing is always the same though: side out Goblin Rabblemaster when you're on the draw.

Against Mono-Green Devotion shells, Disdainful Stroke is an all-star. Keranos, God of Storms , Banishing Light , and Narset, Enlightened Master help a lot as well. I often play a much more control based game against any shell like that, and Temur monster decks are no exception. Usually running 12 mana dorks, turn 3 Stormbreath Dragon is extremely possible, and having a Disdainful Stroke ready for that hill help a lot.

As for general gameplay, don't use early burn spells on their face. Use them to take out what mana dorks you can, and slow down their game to the point where you can easily out pace them. I often side in Anger of the Gods against them for that reason. Wiping all their dorks at once is a huge blow. Bonus, it hits Sylvan Caryatid too!

Against any deck running Sylvan Caryatid and Courser of Kruphix , turn 2 Seeker of the Way will really screw them up. They will often let him get through unblocked, because losing their creatures would be too much of a blow to their game. And if they do block, you can either burn their face of burn their creature, and gain life while you're at it.

Hope this helps! Do you think I should add a sideboard tech to my description?

yes you should and ill put my list up now

For future reference, you can post a direct link to a deck like this: Jeskai Stuff.

You can do it by typing [ [slug] ].

In the url, the part that comes after mtg-decks/ is the slug. Yours is '18-10-14-GAB-jeskai-stuff'.

Take out the spaces between the square brackets, and it will make a direct link like it has above.

Lol, no worries! Your list looks great.

October 18, 2014 10:29 p.m.

guess i just have to aggressively burn coursers more

October 18, 2014 10:40 p.m.

TheHroth says... #16

The trick is to not be scared to attack into a Courser. Often they won't expect you to, and won't block, expecting a trick, even if you don't have one.

October 18, 2014 10:47 p.m.

do you think digs 3-4 are very good as opposed to 2 of them?

October 18, 2014 10:50 p.m.

TheHroth says... #18

Yes. I was only running 2 Dig Through Time in my original list, but soon moved up to 3 because it was so good, and now I'm up to 4. While seeing one opening hand never thrills me, it isn't bad. Occasionally you'll be forced to take a mulligan because you have 2-3 Dig opening hand and nothing really good, but those times are few and far between (though I did pull 3 opening hand at my last FNM...not fun, but my mull to 6 was beautiful and I ended up winning).

A lot of people have talked to me about Dig Through Time vs Treasure Cruise , but this is Standard, not Legacy. I'd much rather pick 2 of 7 than just get 3 for the same mana. Especially if I lose the ability to cast it as an instant, which is relevant a lot of the time.

October 18, 2014 11:02 p.m.

so do you think i should remove chandra in my list for 2 more?

October 18, 2014 11:07 p.m.

TheHroth says... #20

Removing two Chandra, Pyromaster is an option, but I think I'd rather remove Banishing Light for Dig Through Time . It's up to you, but I think having Chandra would benefit a lot more, from being able to attack with Goblin Rabblemaster without fear of him being blocked, to straight up card advantage with her 0. If you then manage to ultimate her, it should be GG.

Banishing Light has a lot of good stuff about it too. It deals with just about any threat, but is fragile. I took it out of my list because I felt it was too slow in a lot of matches, so I put it into the sideboard for when I feel I need more removal (Mono-Green devo, Temur Monsters, decks with a lot of PW's, etc).

October 18, 2014 11:20 p.m.

i take it out alot to vs green as they always seems to have Reclamation Sage ill try removing it then

+1 Check out my Take on Jeskai Tempo. Its built around Narset, Enlightened Master but I can win without her Jeskai Clan and Their Leader Narset

October 19, 2014 3:46 a.m.

TheHroth says... #24

@Jokertechz

Thanks! I played around with Narset, Enlightened Master in the mainboard but found that running both her and Generator Servant to get her out and attacking on turn 4 was just really inconsistent.

@TheHroth

yeah it is something like a 5% chance but I like hitting planeswalkers off of her and I have really good mid range game. If i have the right hand I can burn them down really fast too.
