Hmm...I may as well add a couple copies seeing as I am running anyway.
Do you mean the italics?

If you don't mind me asking, how did you change the Red in the mana wheel to a dark crimson color instead of the bright red it usually is? Otherwise, I like the deck. Though, I do think 4 Rabblemaster is better than 2 and 2 with brimaz.

The mana pie does that sometimes, I've seen it before...but as far as I know there is no code to change it. It seems to be a glitch that occurs sometimes.
As for Brimaz vs Rabble, Brimaz may be a bit hard to cast at times that Rabble because of the casting cost, but is so much more resilient and has won me many more games than Rabblemaster does, so I'm not sure about swapping him out.

If you're not going to budget you might want to swap out Goblin Rabblemaster for Monastery Mentor becuase it is more resilient and can spiral out of control so quickly.

I know its really late to ask this, but how did you do at the GPT?
January 11, 2015 10:44 a.m.
Monastery Mentor has proven herself quite underwhelming in my testing. If left alone, for sure she'll take over the game, but Goblin Rabblemaster does the same, and is a better T3 play than Monastery Mentor.
Monastery Mentor feels better as a late game finisher for a control deck, when you can play her and leave plenty of mana up to protect her, and make tokens.
Read the full update. Unfortunately, I got sick and had to miss out on it. :(

i play tested against your deck with my Mardu Lifegain Burn deck and i found that usually Crackling Doom was ineffective because the game would be over before any big bombs were played.
January 11, 2015 12:16 p.m.
Crackling Doom is highly effective removal against Abzan, Temur, and Sultai decks that play creatures I simply can't 1-1 burn, like Siege Rhino, Polukranos, World Eater, and Nemesis of Mortals.
Removing their biggest (and often only) threat is huge, and dealing damage at the same time is just icing on the cake.

Great remove and damage. Some creatures makes u vulnerable.

Thanks a lot for the playtest! Abzan decks are definitely a tough match, and your list looks really interesting.

Yes I have, but I can't afford to run it.
Without and access to Sylvan Caryatid, my manabase is really tight. I can't afford more than one slot for a land that only taps for , and I'd rather run a basic swamp because I can fetch it with Bloodstained Mire.

OK deck looks great, I'm not sure what the interactions between Stoke the Flames and Mantis Rider are though.
Also if you're looking for draw, Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker's third ability does just that, and Outpost Siege can help as well. I feel like Monastery Siege is also awesome for making your opponent's spells cost more.
Anyway, great deck, please let me know what I can do to improve mine. I'm going for standard, just what I have for now.
May 26, 2015 12:49 a.m.
Mantis Rider interacts well with Stoke the Flames because it has vigilance. This means I can attack with it and still be able to tap it to add mana to cast Stoke the Flames before my next untap step.
I already have Outpost Siege in here, and between in, Treasure Cruise, and Dig Through Time, I have plenty of draw power to keep the deck running into the late game. The "buyback" ability on Soulfire Grand Master, and Narset Transcendent's -2 also help a lot with card advantage, letting me get multiple uses out of my spells.

Ah nice, that is a cool interaction.
I didn't notice your Outpost Siege for some reason Lol. Anyways good deck!

The deck totally doesn't need it...but it is sooo amazing and helps so often in so many matchups.
Crazy mana screw rarely happens. Obviously it can, but the fixing here is actually pretty great.
