@magic_master Im not really into the whole Stormbreath Dragon hype, sure hes great and has his place in some decks but hes not quite there for me. I rather drop a Underworld Cerberus instead that is extremely hard to block and hits for 6. Stormbreath Dragon is just to easily blocked or killed.

Try Mistcutter Hydra in the board.

@infinitemana Yea Mistcutter Hydra is great against blue decks i think i might justpick up 2 or 3 for sideboard. Thx.

I like the deck a lot. However, with only 18 creatures does domri do a lot for you? I would think Xenagos could give more value making chump blockers/pressure and ramping you into an overloaded mortars/Sire of Insanity/Rakdos's Return. He may also make up for the fact you have no card draw in the main board.

@pedub85 yeah i can see why you think that about Domri Rade but he made the cut because he gives use to alot of my large creatures making him and them extremely dangerous. And about card draw he is an outlet but not completely reliable. Also about exenagos i would throw 2~3 in but they seem extremely hard to find. Ive been thinking about throwing in 3 or 4 Read the Bones but not sure what to drop any tips?

I just brought up Xenagos becuase i have three he has been playtesting phenominally in the deck. I know you said you dont like stormbreath dragon, but with Xenagos he and Polis Crusher are ridiculous!!!! Montrosity the following turn they come down makes them an even bigger threat. Without him i think Read the bones or Underworld Connections are your only options using Domri.

Also, in play testing, I hit a turn 4 Rakdos's Return for 5 dmg/discard with Xenagos. :) Sorry but i just really like the synergy he brings with Jund.

Yea i completely understand I've driven 60 mins in every direction from where i live no exenagos's for miles :(

There are a lot of sources online that can sell him for cheaper than the average price, and deliver him to your home That is how i get my cards from when I can't find them.

simplehands says... #11

I've tried that but most won't deliver to Canada at a reasonable price

Just for shits and grins, i posted a deck i have been working on for a while. it's kinda pricey but the results have been pretty consistant. Check it out and tell me what you think. My browser at work doesn't let me post a link but it's call 4 Color Midrange and it has Rados's Return as the featured card. I just posted it.

really like the deck. just noticed though you have three Read the Bones main deck and two in the sideboard. Gives you room for something else in the sideboard!

@TenderBoat Oh thx didn't even notice that.

Looks crazy fun, but I had to find some way to slip Polukranos, World Eater in there, it's just soo good! I would personally add 2/3 to the main board. 5/5 ahead of the curve with a potentially vital ability sounds good to me! :) +1'd!

December 21, 2013 1:07 p.m.

simplehands says... #16

@prehstun polukranos is a great addition, ill have too look around for some. But yea this deck is just ridiculously fun. Somehow you just always have an answer for what your opponent is doing while you reduce their life total to zero.

I'm starting to prefer Kalonian Hydra to Polukranos, World Eater . If I look at my hand everytime I would prefer to see the hydra. It just gets out of hand so quickly that its an auto include in all my decks that run green. I just played with my Jund deck today and it won be the game almost as soon as it entered play. Kalonian Hydra and Corpsejack Menace together are a naaaasty combo.

So I got into this, I guess this is just another personal opinion, and I guess its also based off my local meta, but I felt this deck was really missing one certain something, and that certain something is Abrupt Decay I decided to try dropping 1x Dreadbore 1x Vraska the Unseen for 2x Abrupt Decay and also even at one point dropped a Mizzium Mortars for another Abrupt Decay and it just worked SOO much better for me, but again, just a suggestion :) May not work for you and your local meta, but just a suggestion :) It gave me more answers to more problems.

December 25, 2013 11:07 p.m.

simplehands says... #19

Yea the deck could use some Abrupt Decay but while just playing around before my first fnm they were usually just a dead card in my hand. Its really built for my meta i guess. Theres always room for some alterations to fit your meta.

Sweet. CHeck out my Jund Standard We have a couple of similar ideas, and I really want to give jund more of a control feel than the agrro/midrange idea some people have. +1. Jund is back in the game, baby!

Epicbatman says... #21

Also, why no Dreadbore ? I get that people like the instant speed, but I don't understand why people like all Hero's Downfall when the 'bore is in their colors.

January 13, 2014 8:02 p.m.

simplehands says... #22

@Epicbatman i just removed a playset from the board, i just felt as if instant speed helps support the midrange/control feel of the deck. Sorcery speed has held me back quite a bit and after playtesting i jut felt as if Hero's Downfall was better positioned. It helps remove Obzedat, Ghost Council where that would just be a pain in my butt.

Yes, that's why I think a mix is great. My deck has 3 of each, and it's been working fine,

pedub84 says... #24

How do you like vraska? I see her as a possible two dreadbores that costs 1 more mana and one less card. I also noticed you took my advice on xenagos. How do you like him? I also think i like stormbreath dragon more than cerebus. xenagos makes him be able to monster quickly.

January 14, 2014 7:32 p.m.

simplehands says... #25

@pedub84 Vraska the Unseen is a great draw almost always, She is either a 2 for 1 kill or just a threat that opponents eventually have to attack. Xenagos, The Reveler is a great addition because he pumps mana and makes the XX in polukranos alot bigger and also the X in Rakdos's Return . I'm not quite sure about Stormbreath Dragon but i ight slowly make the conversion over to him.
