I like it, but I'd reduce the number on anger of the gods and read down to 3 each, add in another whip, and then 1 more doom blade if you can. Anger is a great card, but if you're not against aggro it means you have four dead spots.

This is almost exactly how my deck, HELL!! BLOOD!! FIRE!! DEATH!!! first started. I found myself crushing agro decks but getting stomped by other control decks. Versus Esper with a handful of dead-cards. Slowly added more and more creatures. I got the idea from the D&D deck also.

Maybe add Mizzium Mortars in the sideboard and Erebos, God of the Dead .

@ mikemega Yea man, I thought about Mizzium Mortars a lot and decided not to add it in due to all the other removal I have. The only situation I saw myself wanting it was against Blood Baron of Vizkopa and even then I thought Devour Flesh was better just because it deals with that plus hexproof. Both of which I see in my meta. As for Erebos, God of the Dead , I thought about him too but didn't see a spot in the 75. Any suggestions on what to take out for it? Or should I put it in the side?

Maybe Erebos over Underworld Connections? It's just so good against lifegain

Tonight was just a small tourney with 8 people. I'm sure it's just because it was Saturday. Usually at a standard fnm there's close to 30. Anyhow, tonight went really well. Went 4-1 taking 1st!

Round 1 played a mono white deck and went 2-0. I knew my opponent was obviously going to be playing Brave the Elements and Gods Willing so I just baited out those with Doom Blade and Lightning Strike and then I would Anger of the Gods to clear the board and Stormbreath Dragon did the rest of the work because both games he had Spear of Heliod out. Pretty easy overall.

Round 2 was against a bug control deck that wrecked my face. My opponent played walker after walker after walker and Jace, Memory Adept milled me out both games. 0-2

Round 3 I played against a GW list with the gw God and a bunch of creatures. The round went 2-1. I only lost 1 game here due to having to mulligan and never drawing into an anger for his ramp and facing down a nylea, Arbor collosus, and polukronos and all I had was Stormbreath out on the field. But I won with Rakdos Return game 3 into unanswerable threats.

Then top 4 played and I replayed against the BUG control deck. This time I went 2-0. Game one I got there with Erebos, God of the Dead and Pack Rat and I only had 11cards left in my library. Game 2 my opponent was stuck on 2 lands for 7 turns and I took it easily.

In the final round I played the esper humans deck and went 2-1 and that's only because I kept a 1 Lander game 1 which was incredibly dumb. I won easily in our second and third game due to all the premo removal I have.

Overall the deck proved really strong. My only loss was against the BUG deck, which I've beat in playtesting but his version ran 12 walkers. Thats not something I normally see. But Pack Rat was an all-star. I only won I game all night single handedly by him, but he was most useful for just turning on the gods I run. One thing I might change is throw in 1 more land, maybe Rogue's Passage , just because I had to mulligon a few times due to only having 1 land in my opening hand. Other than that, I can't complain one bit on how the deck performed and I'm probably going to play it at a local SCG-IQ that's coming up on April 12
