Are you looking for recommendations based on the pool of cards you already own, shown in the Maybeboard?

@Natalbee

The maybeboard is a list of cards that I might buy for this deck. I want the deck to initially be under $100

The cards in the mainboard are cards that I already own. The reason I put the cards that I don’t own yet in the maybeboard and not the acquireboard is because I like being able to see what I need at a glance when I go shopping, and it lets people know what I’m already considering for the deck

Gotcha. When you said "from bulk" I thought maybe that meant cards you had laying around haha

Having 0 interaction or protection outside of creatures, you should def put in that Prowling Serpopard and Spellbreaker Behemoth . Soul of New Phyrexia protects all your creatures from a board wipe. Ruric Thar, the Unbowed punishes control players. Duskwatch Recruiter  Flip is a fantastic mana sink (as is Genesis Hydra ). Treasure Keeper and Woodland Bellower could be interesting? And Conduit of Ruin makes everything cheaper while tutoring for Decimator of the Provinces , Mockery of Nature , Nullstone Gargoyle , etc. Spearbreaker Behemoth and Stonehoof Chieftain also give some protection.

Sorry, I did mean bulk as in cards I had laying around! I’m at university right now and don’t have access to my bulk at home, so I’m putting in the mainboard all the cards that I know that I own, and then I’m putting in the maybeboard all the cheap cards that I’m going to look for. After the deck is finished, then I’m going to start looking for more expensive upgrades

Duskwatch is a pretty good idea! I drafted a lot of Shadows block so I might still have one laying around!

I’ll have to think about Treasure Keeper. I already have a Bloodbraid Elf , and I don’t know if I want to use another slot for an effect like that yet

Woodland Bellower is nice, but it’s $8 and I have more important cards that I need first before I can even think about it

Conduit of Ruin is a great idea and I’ll keep an eye out for one! It’ll become more important once I get more colorless creatures in the mainboard

I forgot about Spearbreaker Behemoth! That card is awesome!

Stonehoof Chieftain is great, but it’s not in my budget range right now

Thank you so much for the suggestions and the +1! I really appreciate it!

@Micocoulier

I’m trying to keep everything everything on my list $2.99 or less right now because I want the deck to be under $100 total - at least initially. I will keep it in mind though!

Zhur-Taa Druid for some spicey mana? Might as well get a foil one

@Brutal_B

I’ll think about it. I’m trying to make most of my ramp sources interact with lands because of Nikya’s mana doubling ability. Either things that bring lands to the field like Wood Elves or untappers like Voyaging Satyr

Ogre Battledriver

Ulvenwald Tracker

Moonveil Dragon can be heavily abused. I can't think of a lot of gruul activated abilities matter creatures..but if you can divine up some more..the instant speed plays of abilities with doubled mana will serve you well.

Mina and Denn, Wildborn and Wayward Swordtooth push both your strategies and don't cost an arm and a leg like Azusa and oracle.

Gruul Ragebeast

Champion of Lambholt

Savageborn Hydra being able to dump mana into this and swing can delete someone without blockers or just trample on through if you have a fieldwide trample effect

Magus of the Candelabra is a must

oh wait Rhonas the Indomitable was a big ability matters critter I forgot

@Bababad

Mina and Denn, Ulvenwald Tracker, and Magus of the Candelabra are all great, but I had them written down already. The maybeboard is a list of cards I am considering for this deck

Wayward Swordtooth and Rhonas, while both relatively cheap, are still out of my budget range for this deck. All of the things I have in the mainboard right now are things that I already own, and I’m trying to keep all of my single purchases to $2.99 or less each

Ogre Battledriver could be interesting! I’ll keep it in mind

Moonveil Dragon is good, but I plan on going big, not wide, so it might not be that useful for this deck

Gruul Ragebeast is cool, but I don’t want to force any of my tiny utility creatures to fight when they enter because they’ll just die.

Champion of Lambholt looks really cool! I might try it out

Savageborn Hydra is good, but I’m worried that if he’s just by himself, he’ll just be chump blocked for days. At least with other hydras like Genesis Hydra , Hooded Hydra , or Lifeblood Hydra , you get something of value besides a big beater. I’ll have to think about it

Thank you so much for the suggestions and the +1!

I'm playing Nikya, and my deck list here on tapped out it's not updated. It's Full creatures...62 creatures and 38 lands. I had the same fellings for Primal Surge, and loved your idea on Tarzi. But what i did in my last update on Nikya: Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger and Regal Behemoth to increase your mana at a ridiculous amanounts to Cast ridiculous Hydras...its a F...Gruul so giant creatures are welcome; All Draw creature like Primordial Sage to fuel your hand and use that huge amount of mana; Urabrask the Hidden and all the same way for Haste; Flash creatures to have some surprize..."oh that guy don't use any instant, so lets get him off guard." Cloudthresher , Great Oak Guardian , Haze Frog . The Deck can be awesome cos that "mana flare" on commander is so powerfull, that you going to notice when you have the first game.

@Pullo

While I appreciate your suggestions and agree that they’d all make good additions, this is a budget deck and I can’t afford half of these! I have a $2.99 limit per card!

@SteggsTheSaurus

You're probably right, it's just that I don't like how it ONLY hits artifacts. I prefer to play cards that hit both artifacts and enchantments like Reclamation Sage

Hoard-Smelter Dragon offers a decent mana-sink.
