Yeah that would work, but it's just added flair. My mana base is alright and I would have to purchase Overgrown Tomb to make the two Verdant Catacombs I have useful. The only benefit I think I would gain is if I could some how synergize it with a Landfall mechanic if I included Catacombs.

Recollect is a bad Eternal Witness , because Eternal Witness can be sac'd.

Recollect is also less money, But Eternal Witness like you said can be sac'd and is a creature. Thank you for your help.

If you could work in more zombies Gravecrawler would be perfect.

Yeah he would. I thought about maybe adding him anyway because of the fact that I don't have many zombies. It won't be something opponents would Nesscarily expect. Being able to have 1 on the field and 1 in the grave and alot of black mana could make Bloodflow Connoisseur fairly big quickly, and wipe the board with either Savra, Queen of the Golgari or Butcher of Malakir out.

I thought about it. But I already gain enough life already thanks to Savra, Queen of the Golgari and with Gnaw to the Bone . I really would consider him if his CMC was 5 instead of 7. It's too high for this deck I think.

You could include him as a one of, cuz he is a beatstick.
I typically don't use him for life anyhow lol

My beat stick for this deck right now is Mycoloth . Once I get him on the field with a few Devours, I use a Demonic Appetite and a Oni Possession to make a a very nasty beater turn 6 death engine. It's fatter than a titan and sacs the tokens it brings in, triggering about everything in here. And that combo tends to be very reliable.
I'll proxy Doomgape to see what it can do. Maybe I can find a way to throw him down early with a reanimator or something. I was hoping to find some graveyard shenanigains with white.

If you need any ideas, feel free to take any from this deck: Your War Is My Feast.

Token production is fine. Its white creatures I be looking for now.
Note: Doomgape plays fine. Sometimes its a dead draw so I will hold of putting/playing it again until I change the deck a bit more.
August 15, 2012 9:48 p.m.
This deck could really use some more of a kick to it, possibly some equipment or recurring enchantments to make the small creatures in this deck to actually matter beyond being devoured or sacrificed.
The deck also needs more dual lands or a larger push into green or white than the other color, out of 3 matches of playtesting the deck lost about 3 of it's games due to having either green or white spells, but not enough of the right color mana to cast them, it could just be that this deck is running too many double or triple color spells.
As for the need to switch out ghave against some people is it possible the people are actually complaining about you running a mythic rare even though ghave is only a little better than Pentavus ?

Well I have this deck in paper and it performs much better then what the playtester has said it will play. In every game I have every played with this deck so far, I have been able to get out Grave Pact turn 3-5 like clock work. And thats a demanding color spell, and with only 7 multi color cards, I don't think this is an issue. Games I have lost have been usually because I don't get any land of any type rather than specific Color.
I have only encountered the need to switch him out once because the guy was making a stink that it was a commander card. The question of card rarity has never come up. As for the Pentavus thing. Yeah I see what you mena but CMC 7 specific creatue typ required Versus a 5 cmc that can sac anything and Place the counter on anything.
Appearciate the playtest and the time you put into it. If you have Equipement/Enchant suggestions, Don't hesitate to let me know what you had in mind. I would like to be able to find some continuely artifact sac engine. card:Ashnod's Altar and Phyrexian Altar have been something I have had in mind for a while.
August 20, 2012 7:43 p.m.
if you are wanting an artifact sac engine you could alter the deck to have a Trading Post package and that could also answer some mana screw issues. a Trading Post package involves some of that card and around 6-8 of a combination of the wellsprings from the scars block.
as for enchantment/equipment suggestions: Rancor , Angelic Destiny any sword of x and y, Bonehoard , and possibly Sword of Vengeance .
Also now that I think about it Bloodline Keeper Flip could be a very good addition to this deck as an answer to keeping flyers away from your life total and he's a pretty good win condition. also also you might want a Phyrexian Metamorph to clone big dudes, epic artifacts, and kill off pesky legendary creatures (Sigarda, Host of Herons especially)

Trading Post would be to much of a change to the deck. I am going to drop the Curse of Exhaustion s for something else, Probably Bonehoard s. It will lower my color investment and aid my creatures as well as providing a germtoken.
I might also invest in Bloodline Keeper Flip as well. If so I will drop White and more Vampires. I'm also going to think about Gutter Grime .

Needs more Lotleth Troll and possibly Vengevine :P It's good to see people making casual decks again, not all this conform to the pro tour decks, and stuff.

Thanks for the input! :D It could use an update but so far, I haven't had the need. Just to make it stupid strong. I will see if I can get my hands on a few.

For mana I would consider Verdant Catacombs and Overgrown Tomb to thin the deck and get mana fix where you need it. You can fetch at the end of your opponents turn so that you don't have to pay the 2 life
