Hello, and thanks for checking out my budget modern deck! This is the (other) humans deck, looking to exploit Falkenrath Aristocrat's abilities by recurring humans and making zombies.
Our main recurring bois are Golgari Thug and Bloodsoaked Champion. Thug gets stuff back from our grave and can dredge, both coming back and possibly putting some Champions into the yard. Bloodsoaked Champion can be returned whenever Falkenrath Aristocrat attacks, as many times as you have mana for. If Xathrid Necromancer is around, all of our dead Champions turn into Zombies.
Hanweir Garrison is another nice touch, throwing some humans on, with the potential to be Aristocrat food and zombies.
Zulaport Cutthroat is sort of a win condition, speeding up the clock for when we're eating all of our humans and allowing us to stabilize through aggro.
Pia and Kiran Nalaar is just a great midrange card, allowing us to get some (metal) food for our Aristocrat, while allowing us to throw it at our opponent as well. Plus, it is human.
Aaaaand the silliest part about this deck, Thatcher Revolt. Oh boy, this is fun. Makes food for Aristocrat, pings life with Cutthroat, swings in for three, and makes three zombies with Xathrid Necromancer, for THREE MANA. This card could probably be taken out, but it's so fun to play something so janky like this against a competitive player.
