Quick question. How useful is Mother of Runes in this format?

@DavidBray very. It is almost an auto include in white decks because you can use it to protect your creatures from anything that gets thrown at them. Mother of Runes is a great answer to removal and in the late game protecting your creature for the final few points of damage.

You're probably better off running Cultivate over Far Wanderings, I don't thin that this deck would hit threshold early game very often. Also, I know that your playgroup allows your to run Painter's Servant, but what's the point? It helps your general gain some life sure, but you may as well just run Celestial Mantle instead to gain more life and have your deck be properly legal, no matter where you play.

Have you thought of Dragonlord Dromoka? It seems like a cool addition. Also Assault Formation is a cheap enchantment that looking at your creatures would only give a boost.
