In order to update the deck further, TappedOut required me to archive the previous comments. You can still see them by clicking "View Archive". But they will not show up by default. In case anybody was wondering.

ChibiNature How are you doing with Aurelia's Fury ? I find it too mana intensive, and when I do have Paradox Engine on the board I'm going to cast Teferi's Protection if I need another turn to win instead or else I win the game.

I treat Aurelia's Fury as a card similar to Angel's Grace or Silence . I never try and cast it on every single players turn. So I don't ever really hold on to it waiting for a Paradox Engine , hell I cast it often enough without even having my commander on the field. But if I do know one of the non-creature decks at the table is readying the board in order to pop off than I know I can at least shut down him. It's in the so-so category for me in terms of card importance, but has done what I needed it to do so far so I shall leave it in for the time being.

ChibiNature What do you think about Argivian Find ?

I've been playing around with it along with some of the other artifact support cards. Not too bad tbh, since it can be tutored with Sunforger . One of the main issues with all the artifact support cards is that I'm having trouble finding the right cards to cut.

Have you tried Isochron scepter yet...?

I have tried it out a bit yes. not as much as I'd like to but I've seen the ups and downs of it. So far I'd say it has a decent chance of getting in (maybe 65-70%) if I manage to open up a lot of spots later. There is one major upside to it, and one major downside unfortunately. The upside is that it let's us use the large amount of colorless mana we can make for casting colored spells which can help a lot. The downside is that it is easily hated off the board with the ever present Null Rod card in many decks. Along with the million other artifact hate cards people run.

I have yet to see its interactions with Paradox Engine due to them never landing together. But I'm sure it'll be nice when it happens. It also makes a very nice turn 1 play when you're lucky enough to do it. All in all I enjoy it more times than I dont, so we will see when I make space in the future :)

ChibiNature This is going to be strange. Can you recommend to me a goblin commander deck please?

Krenko, Mob Boss is in my opinion, the end all be all Goblin commander for high level edh. No other goblin comes close to being as good. Not that it's a super strong deck in a cEDH environment, but it is certainly the strongest of the goblin ones. I'm not sure which deck on this site is the best list for him, but here is an example I found.

[cEDH] Krenko Combo [[Primer]]

Are you putting it in this deck?

That is correct, I put it in this deck's description

May 16, 2019 10:16 p.m.

ChibiNature Are you copying the exact code that I sent you? It's the exact one that's in the coding deck

I figured out the issue, didn't know I needed to be an upgraded user. Thanks for all the help. Want me to shout you out in the description when I update the decklist :D

It's the least I can do :)

ChibiNature Contragulations on making this deck into a Primer! What is your favorite spell to exile with Isochron Scepter ?

May 19, 2019 11:20 p.m.

ChibiNature says... #18

VaalVanir thanks! Although the primer is pretty far from being done. Still need to put a lot more time into it :P

My favorite card other than the cantrips would be Enlightened Tutor . A free artifact tutor every turn is ludicrously broken.

Unwinding Clock Prying Blade Smothering Tithe are all great cards to have mana for protection spells. Deck is sick btw.

Wicked_N_Irish

Unwinding Clock was actually in the very first draft of this deck, but I found it was actually never quite enough. I would never search for it instead of Paradox Engine , and even if I had engine on the field I would hold up any tutors in case it died instead of finding Unwinding Clock as a back up.

Prying Blade is far too slow and expensive at 3 mana to get rolling, also combat damage is very rarely something we are concerned about. We attack of course, but wont get enough combat steps in to get any sort of significant value from cads like that before we end up just comboing off. So it usually becomes a 3 mana expense, in order to have 2-ish mana in the future.

and Smothering Tithe is already in the deck ( ^-^)

ChibiNature Look at the new card from Modern Horizons, Fists of Flame = Hahahahahah!

I would imagine you draw 7 card this turn, attack with Feather that has Sunforger equipped, then cast Fists of Flame then Psychotic Fury . I think you get to take a player down with this.

May 22, 2019 10:54 a.m.

ChibiNature says... #22

VaalVanir

Yeah I am liking the card a lot. It might actually replace Psychotic Fury tho, since fury cannot target Zada, Hedron Grinder and Mirrorwing Dragon . And Fists of Flame will still give enough for the creature to win in combat. Will have to debate about it a bit more. There are a few cards this set I am interested in for this deck alone. I am looking forward to do playtesting with them!

Is this deck strictly cEDH or have you tried some multiplayer games using the stax. Interested in knowing if stax works better then the token method in MP.

May 22, 2019 8:40 p.m.

ChibiNature says... #24

Sealtest

cEDH is a multiplayer format. you are probably thinking of Duel Commander. So yes the Stax/Combo Hybrid method is better than Tokens in multiplayer ( ^-^)
