VaalVanir the problem with that is that it lowers out chances to get the early game mana we need. Most mana rocks cost SOMETHING, and we already have all the cheap 3 or less CMC rocks in our deck as it is. Unwinding Clock will most likely be going in if I choose to stick with the same gameplan tho, mana rocks or otherwise.

Jsc149 reliably getting rid of Academy Rector is a fair bit more difficult than you might think, we dont run a whole lot of cards that actually deal damage, and expecting an opponent to get rid of it for you is silly. Also there is no card that can really be replaced for her, as the rest of the tutors in our deck are far more reliable.

Zhenduo both of those cards can stay in. They multiply our card draw by quite a bit. If you're top decking and get a draw spell then that probably wont save you. But if you get a draw FIVE spell then you could prolly turn things around. Also yes Unwinding Clock is now under heavy consideration with the Paradox Engine banning.

By the way, Arcane Signet is NOT to be found in the Court of "Whatever Faerie" set. It can only be found in the new Brawl decks that comes out the same time. Either one of the 4 Brawl decks will have it.

Also yes Feather is no longer competetive. Which puts boros back into the spot it was prior to feather. I'll still be optimizing it as it is still by and large, the strongest boros commander. But we will just have to wait and see if Wizards gives us something good :(

And at the end of the day. The deck is still good in general. So pulling out wins isn't too too hard.

Gerrard, Weatherlight Hero is very much a commander, not a 99 kind of card due to the exiling effect. So it doesn't really have a spot in our deck.

I am still in the middle of making one right now, and as fun as he is, I don't think it is competitively viable, or better than Feather, the Redeemed in a cEDH environment. Might be proven wrong, but we shall see. For the record, I still have a long ways to go before the deck is complete.

Don't think I would ever run that in my life xD. It's at sorcery speed, so can only be cast on your turn. Is effectively a 7 mana deal 6, since 1 damage HAS to go at your team and you will very very rarely have 7 red mana exclusively. Doesn't draw you a card. And it cannot even compare to the damage output of cards like Chandra's Ignition when you consider the number of targets it hits for 2 less mana. Cards like that and Aurelia's Fury , Soul's Fire , and Impact Resonance will outclass it at every turn.

This is not the strongest Feather deck currently. It is missing the newest update from Eldraine, stuff like Arcane Signet will definitely cut out Coldsteel Heart and Dockside Extortionist is missing as well.

The long overdue edit is live :D Which also means that chat is archived once again (sorry about that) Sorry about having such a long wait for such a small update, not much to tweak with this deck recently, but I am tempted to make a separate more flicker based Feather, the Redeemed list for fun, so if that has a decent amount of success then I might consider tweaking this one further. But atm I am quite content with the decks playstyle the way it is. Just keeping those fingers crossed for more good Boros cEDH cards.

Id recommend removing Land tax as you only have 5 basics

Underworld Breach would be a great add in place of land tax. Also Why not mox amber, Boros charm, Apostle's Blessing, or permeant removal such as generous gift or even wear and tear. I went back through the archive and could not find these covered.
